- Resurrecting an old series! Not a common feature though. But ERaptor were kind enough on request to donate me 6 inserts for some major game titles. I have assembled them all, put them in my own games and now I'm going to show what they comprise of and how much value they add in terms of setup and takedown vs the money you pay.
Both pros and cons will be discussed!

I'm all for blinging up our games, at adds a personal touch to them, but have never seen the need for inserts. As you say, some can cost as much as a game and I'd rather spend the money on another game. I'm guessing the insert for This War of Mine won't fit all the KS extras, so where do they go? Then there is the question, what do you do with the expansion boxes? Chuck 'em? Store them? Each game and expansion box is a work of art and they look awesome on the shelf. I'd much rather that than spending good money on an insert and have the dilemma of not knowing what to do with the superfluous packaging. But, each to his own.
Can't imagine having the time to be as into board gaming as you are! Always enjoy listening, though. Thx. I do have one 'serious' question that you could address sometime in one of your vids (or here): "What are your suggestions for people who are interested in trying some of the games you are excited about, but don't really have a ready-made circle of friends/family with which to do it?" How did you find those with whom you game? (Who better to ask?) Cheers.

Is this the kickstarter? You seem to have more than comes with the retail basegame (like sewers) maybe that's why the insert doesn't hold sleeved cards that well
It has an expansion in it.
@@TheBrokenMeeple Their website says you can only fit the basegame with sleeves. So if your also putting an expansion in it, saying it barely fits is not completely fair.

Not sure I’d consider inserts bling. They’re functional. They’re not merely there for show, like jewelry, the original bling. Nonetheless, I like the series idea a lot!

The Broken Meeple yeah, I figured the reason was because of the alliteration. Hopefully some future videos can feature some shiny, pretty bling stuff for my monkey brain to vicariously enjoy, too. Maybe? Haha.
I bought my insert from Saim Labs which is a lot better than this one and doesn't need glue either
Not heard of them, certainly not a local brand and I can't even see a website.
@@TheBrokenMeeple He sells through Facebook only , I got his inserts for gloomhaven, terraforming mars and this war of mine , I'm delighted with them cheap as well
