How does big European Clubs' USA tours affect MLS?

Yes, it’s cool to see the great European ⚽️ clubs coming to the States 🇺🇸 but unfortunately the games are not anything exciting. Pretty much just to sell jerseys. They should put a trophy 🏆 on the line.

I'm taking my die hard soccer kids to the Man City v Chelsea game this weekend. These US tours are definitely for the kids, but believe me, they're super excited about it. I understand it's a watered down money grab, but my kids don't, and that's why I spent far too much to take them to the game.

Elite clubs aren't coming to the U.S. for "the kids." As you said, they're a money grab for adults to spend hundreds on dollars seeing mostly second string players.

As a US & MLS fan, it doesn’t matter to me. I had no idea they were even in the country playing these. It’s fine for their clubs fans over here but don’t think it affects anything…

Liverpool 2:1 Arsenal. Happy with the progress under Slot. We played well, esp Elliott.

As a huge fan of the Premier League and one of the big 6 teams. I have NO desire to see PL games played in the USA. It would just not be the same as experiencing a game in England. Period.

The USA isn't a football nation in any capacity. Now, about these matches, honestly there's absolutely no reason for this games to be in the USA at all, other than money it just doesn't make any sense 😂🤷

In football ⚽️ friendly matches are different from exhibition matches. Exhibition matches are for charity and includes players changing teams, old players, letting in goals on purpose.

I know soccer and watch MLS and European Leagues, of course MLS is not a top league but I still watch it , I’m a season ticket holder for an MLS team because I support my local city in a sport I like has nothing to do with the MLS not being a top league .

MLS is one of the only soccer leagues in the world where you don't know who will win any given week.
When it comes to the top 5 leagues, I just have to check which team has the highest payroll, and I'm almost always able to predict who will win.
Before anybody even tries to mention Leicester City in 2016, just remember that it was an exception instead of the rule. Therefore, the rule stands.

I'd rather watch Man City academy with 2-3 regular starters than any MLS match. A match at Yankee Stadium is the embarrassing part.
