Scar is easily one of the scariest villains in Disney. Fitting, as his inspirations were some of the nastiest people in history, namely Hitler, Lenin, and Stalin. The hyenas marching is a reference to Nazis, and the end shot of the mountain over the crescent moon is a reference to the hammer and sickle emblem of the Soviets. Basically dunking on Fascism and Communism in one go.
Not my favorite villain in Disney's anthology, but it is my favorite villain song. I love how it's just Scar insulting the hyenas while plotting his brother and nephew's murders for 3 and 1/2 minutes straight.
I find it really shocking, that none of them understood obvious comparison to the USSR. The way hienas march is the same as the red army marched. Communism promised the same prizes as Scar, land, peace and food. Also the cult of the supreme leader.

It could be interpreted that way, but the story artist of the film actually put that as a reference to a Nuremburg rally. Which makes sense considering Hitler was one of the inspirations for Scar.
I think it ridiculous to make a video of something like this ... things like this r best in private between the people who wants to debate it and write they're opinions no need to make it to a video...and another thing!...it's loud and noisy all voices r scrambled together ur not going to understand ether the song or them which is annoying

Jeremy iron actually lost his voice when scar says you won’t get a sniff without me. The rest of the song is performed by Jim Cummings
He was able to sing the final be prepared at the end so he basically lost his voice and then he got it back right in the end
