Many ppl reported that the screen goes completely off when dark picture/screen is opened, i.e. a completely dark screen in a movie for a second and that it flashes on and off which doesn't look good in such moments. Did you experience it? Maybe some update fixed that.
Yeah, I think we can notice it at 12:25 for example. The screen on buttons become a little bit darker suddenly and then back on full brightness when black screen is out. What a shame.
Is this a best buy, considering the budget price target, or there are better options (limiting the choice to 7/8 inch tablets) in the same price range, like, for example, the Chuwi Hi8 Pro ?
Hey, did you play around with it a little bit longer or it went back to the box after this overview and you had to sent it back to the shop? WHat do you think about it if you played with it some more time? Is it really smooth and without any hickups and slow downs apart from those freezing when too many apps opened? The Snap625 is pretty OK and it should be good especially as I see the ROM is pretty much stock, right? And what about the battery? Especially during watching movies? Does it play all 1080p videos smoothly? Or maybe even 4k if you've checked it out too? Cheers and thanks for this short introduction.
FYI I have the Chuwi Hi8 Pro and had significant issues with it, including failing to recognise memory card and very short battery life. I have the dual Windows/Android version, which only leaves 8Gb for Android which is not sufficient. It's basically used as an electronic picture frame now and I've ordered a Lenovo Tab 3 8 Plus to replace it.

Lenovo is a much more reputable company. BTW, the tablet has sat idle for 13 days and its at 15%.

64gb microSD support. I didnt say it was "just for kids" thats one use case. Can be used for home automation. I didnt misinform anyone.
