Now if you do nothing but short trips, multiple times a day, it means the car doesn't fully heat up or the fluids go from cold to hot, back to cold to hot a few times a day, which is what really wears your vehicle out.

@Polymer Tools that's exactly why I'd buy such a car. Hence the "probably been better looked after". I use 70k miles as a comparison as that's typically where suspension components begin to fail. Comparatively, if you were to buy a car with very high mileage, said suspension components will have been replaced multiple times (and likely be in better condition).

Match the vin on the motor to the vin on the chassis and I'll believe it has 1000000miles
That’s insane. I have a 2008 CRV with nearly 200k. I’d be amazed if that thing could even hit 250
you'd be surprised how long cars like this will last with proper care. my 99 corolla is at 500k and still going strong. 1.8L (manual transmission)
@@cadenswain158 We’ll there you go, that’s why it’s still running. It’s got a manual 🤣. Pretty sure the trans in my CR-V is going out. But I 100% agree, keep up on maintenance, and your vehicle will last a life time
It will! just treat her well. Same as “Happy wife, happy life”😏
@@lionden4 never thought about it that way, but that’s very true
@@namesdom Have you kept up maintenance on transmission? Just wondering cause I have a 2012 with 111,000. No problems or anything. Had drain and fill at @98,000 miles.
I hope my 2008 Civic will reach this milestone
very cool to see!
My dad had a jeep with almost 400k miles on it. I believe it would have lasted longer if my sister took care of it🤦🏿♀️. He gave it to her when he bought a new one.
I've never had more electrical issues with a Honda than this generation of CRV. But seeing this makes me feel better about owning my 09 EX-L.
I hope to get my 335i to at least 200k. Sure it’s a lofty goal given it’s a BMW, but I’m determined to get it there with the original N55 motor and transmission. It’s at 128k and still runs and shifts well
I had a 530xi hit 220,000. I loved that car. So comfortable handles great. I wanted to keep it but end up buying a 2016 crv.
This is awesome
Makes me feel good, just got my first car from my family a 2001 Saturn sc1 coupe with 225k miles it’s a standard too so that’s a challenge lol but it starts up everytime and sounds good n quiet no weird noises or anything
The Honda CR-V looks fantastic apart from the faded plastic headlights and that can be fixed with something like Brasso polish and some elbow grease.
Always loved those old dodge Dakotas and Durango’s
That’s back and forth to the moon 2x
I’ve got my dream truck a 2004 Nissan frontier 3.3 v6 4door original..
Also my first truck a 88 Toyota pickup I love it I’ve got 2 more !! Love my Toyota’s
Honda makes the best combustion engines in the world!!!
I work at a honda dealership and the highest I've seen was a crv with 560k
Now when i reach 16 k really want to start up my moms impala and make it reach 500k
Its on 230k but the only things thats been replaced is the oil and AC
Some guy got 1.1 million miles on a 1987 Toyota Camry. The engine may honestly sound better than even my friends 2020 RAV-4. The Japanese do NOT joke around when it comes to reliability.
My 2020 Civic K20C2 also gave me zero mechanical issues. Only "issue" I have is a few annoying interior rattles lol.
Tell me about the rattles! Ever sence I upgraded my speakers the interior rattles like no there’s no tomorrow! I fixed most of it by now but it’s still there … love everything about the car, just not the rattles
@@-nightraider-1169 It's funny. a lot of the Civic's I've had, the fit and finish is the most solid in the class just below VW Group, but the rattles are just so annoying (ESPECIALLY if your Civic has a sunroof like mine does lol).
The a25a is such a noisy engine but they are already hitting high mileage without any major issues
Yeah, my 2023 is still going strong too.
2010 corolla with 96k miles. I got a little while to go. Lord willing I hand it down to my children. Would be awesome.
And them cars carrying they big asses around ok They is Hyper Blessed
God damn i miss my 08 CRV so much ....
80% of Americans are oblivious about Toyota / Honda.
Shame because a lot of them are American made !
Love my cr-v 110000 no issues ❤
I got a 2021 Toyota Tacoma SR5 and plan on doing the oil change every 4,000 miles. It’s got close to 7,000 and I always choose full synthetic oil
i like stories like this. makes my 2007 sonata with 150 k miles seem barely broken in lol
I've seen a Toyota and it's power only lasted 2 years that was 2004. Thank you!
1996 Jeep Cherokee Box type 4.0 and line 6 350000 miles
My 2004 crv at 194k still runs like a new car
I put a million miles on a 1993 Ford Taurus just driving it from Belleview Florida to Clearwater Beach Florida in under 2 years it did have two hundred thousand original miles so I put $800,000 on it
Met someone in Tijuana Mexico with a million mile 1998 Toyota 4 Runner, original engine and besides a small lifter tick still running good
my uncle has a 94 ranger that rolled over a million a few years ago.
My current ride is a 2016 Honda Accord LX with 77,000+ miles. I change my 0W20 full synthetic oil when the maintenance meter hits 50%. I'm 69-years-old and this may be the last car I ever own.
My previous vehicles were: 2001 Honda Civic HX, 1995 Honda Civic CX, and a 1985 Honda CRX HF. All purchased new.
This is why Honda and Hyundai are the best cars to me.
Dang, impressive!
I NEVER GOT THAT EXCITED WHEN MY 88 VOLVO HIT A MILLION MILES, TWENTY YEARS AGO, IT NOW HAS ANOTHER 300 k , AND THE ODOMETER QUIT WORKING LAST SUMMER,
GET A NEW CLUSTER
@Faggot Rotten my 2018 SUBIE 18K FOR NOW
Yeah volvos are very good in terms of reliability
B.S. story!
My 88 Volvo 240 hit 600 k twenty years ago ,odometer broke at 600 k, I bet it’s got double by now
That’s $130,000 in gas at 23mpg and $3 a gallon for the Honda. That’s $28 every single day on gas for 13 years.
252k miles on my 2008 Honda crv these cars are bullet proof after all oil seals are replaced and water pump you’re good to go coolant flushes ect. But to keep her fully running maintenance all around new power steering flush brakes
What a happy occasion 🏖
That CR-V should have the 2.4 N/A engine that was an excellent Honda engine, to me way better than the 1.5 turbo of today. I had a 2007 Accord with the 2.4 and 5 speed manual. That engine ran smooth as could be with 168,000 miles on it and averaged 29-30 MPG.
My Civic EJ9 had 493000 KM and had zero problems, changed oil every 30 000 km
580,000 miles on my buddys 2005 Chevy work van. Has the 4.8L LS. Havent seen anyone handing out awards to him.
My 06 is approaching 300k, and I'm gonna see about making it a million mile LS
Goes to show that Honda is just one of the top manufacturers for reliability. These things will go years without a major problem. Hondas are just bulletproof tanks~ I would definitely buy that 2007 CR-V, and I'd believe it'll last me 1 million more.
Peterbuilt ,KW ,freightliner and Vulva are in the 3 million+ club
Can't compare those commercial heavy duty trucks to an ordinary commute vehicles
just got a 2023 MDX.. its the best vehicle in the world.. (the CRVs older cousin).. and the CRV was our 3rd choice (Pilot second).. Thank you Honda.. 20 years of satisfaction after 7 Hondas and Acuras
the early 90s and 2000s dodge truck are solid trucks
I'm about to reach 200,000 miles with my 1999 CRV. I know in his automatic transmission CRV he had to replace the transmission once or twice at least. I've known two CRV's with manual transmissions that reached over 400,000 without a engine or transmission fix. They don't make manuals in CRV's anymore though.
