      To avoid over heating, if it's not too hot mine allows me to turn the turbo for more than 7 sec.

    When you make this model with the interchangeable battery like you did with the very good E4K I will buy it as I did with many of your great products. With its 4400 Lumens it is still the best for the quality-price-battery ratio.Unfortunately, the soldered battery prevents many from buying it

    I love this torch it's AWESOME! The light is insanely bright, blindingly bright, and everything about it screams GET OUT OF MY WAY OR PREPARE TO BE BLINDED!! Except the "10,000 LUMENS!!" plastered childishly down the side.. why? it looks like an amateur's toy, its embarrassing, it's like owning a "Bear Grills survival knife" instead of a real tool pfft, I'm trying to work out a way of either removing the writing with a gentle solvent, or worst case scenario completely refinishing it maybe in a satin black, so I'm issuing a challenge to anyone who knows their way around this and would probably take 5seconds and instantly know what would look good the best way to do this, I don't want to ruin the finish, but that '10,000 LUMENS!!!" (all in caps) just looks horrible any ideas?

      @@JohnDoe-kv4ef @John Doe having owned it for a month or so it really is a good torch, battery life is great, so I persisted and came up with a simple but effective improvement, I've gotten some self adhesive Velcro tape (about 1cm wide) and carefully cut a perfect sized piece of the hook side and stuck it carefully over the printing, it covers it perfectly and actually looks like it's been there all along, the added benefit is placing the hook side of the Velcro over the 10,000 LUMENS!!! Is its a perfect finger rest that adds grip, now I wish it just came that way standard, Nitecore? Are you listening?
      I love the torch after owning it for a while and actually using it and wouldn't return it because of the printing, good battery life, its BLINDINGLY bright and usable features like the programmable Turbo power make it a handy addition to any serious collection, I've gotten over the 10000 LUMENS!! Printed on the side and improved it in the process, but I won't get over its brightness, WOW!

      @@TheNicky9905 that's a smart solution.. btw, is the LED lense made of plastic or glass?

      @@JohnDoe-kv4ef Thats a good question honestly I'm not sure, I can tell you it'll withstand imense heat though, and its hard as nails, I can't see it getting scratched anytime soon by anything other than superman himself, both my infared heat guns (not high end but accurate enough) read in excess of 300c, I've heard of people starting emergency fires with one and although I've not tried I can see it would be pretty easy, if its the same material as the T4K I'd guess some type of hardened heat resistant plastic ( I once put my T4K against a black plastic coffee cup lid and quickly burnt a hole through it but also melted the outer lens a tiny bit where it touched the black plastic, its made no noticable difference to the performance of the torch though)
      I've got a few Nitecore torches now and love them all, they are all different and serve different purposes, but if you don't already have one, and are looking for the best alrounder then my easy pick is my P18, I've had that one since they were first launched, it's just loaded with features and the battery life (they come with a high end 35amp 18650, but obviously you can use your own) is insane, the 1 Lumen mode is fantastic for use at night for going to the bathroom etc without turning on lights and uses literally no power and being 1 Lumen its not blinding so your eyes need zero adjestment time, the red LED is super handy too for the same reasons and more, the only "flaw/fault" if you can call it that is easily fixed, the main switch "may" become a little "sticky" after a while as you may read, but 1 single drop of WD40 dripped down the side of the switch so not on you, the outside of the torch or your fingers by a knife edge fixes it permenently, so if your're looking for one and don't already own one check out some of the vids on that one, the P18 is my hands down favorite :)
      Edit as this helps too:
      The Turbo mode (1800 Lumens) is also extremely useful, its bright enough for most situations torches many times bigger are usually used, honestly its got more cool and also usable features most of the others have combined, here's something to put it in perspective if your're newer to this than me, this'll spin you out, it at least spun me out, an old school 3xD Cell MagLight from pre LED emitted upto 49 Lumens....

    • @MXarcx
      @MXarcx 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      According to their website the batterie is not replaceable as it is welded shut into the flashlight. It's also not a 18650 but a "INR21700" batterie.

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The batteries are not designed to be replaced. The TM10K comes with a 2 year warranty that would cover issues related to the battery during that time. After the 2 year warranty, we would be able to replace the battery for the cost of parts.
