- So the 2021 Mahindra TUV300 facelift has been reintroduced as the Bolero Neo, and we got the opportunity to drive it for a brief time. In this review, we try and understand if it's still closer to the TUV300 or it has the Bolero elements. Available in four trim levels, the Bolero Neo is priced between Rs 8.48 lakh - Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It retains the same third-generation scorpio platform and the TUV300's 1.5-litre 3-cylinder diesel engine. Coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission (no automatic as of now), the sub-compact SUV's engine produces 100bhp and 260Nm.

I think it is a better car than regular bollero.....has better interior quality, upmarket feel, good features more power than bollero and it is rwd too.

I am one of the engineer in TUV3OO development in 2012-13, tuv developed to upgrade bolero to maintain safety ratings back then.But tuv didn't pickuped market hype as expected. But now it looks like old cake with new coating.
Naming it as TUV 300 was a big blunder. I mentioned it back then also that it should have been named as a new Bolero.

Locking differential mean , differial system get lock...
After this both Tyre will be locked mechanically...
So whenever one tyre will be in the air, both Tyre will rotated at same speed but Power generated by engine will be consumed by ground touched tyre... Which helpful in tricky situation...
In normal differential, power will goes to tyre which has low grip or low mechanical load that is tyre which is not touched to ground.....in this situation your vehicle may get stuck
Purpose of different is to allow tyre to rotate at different speed on turning.... But this creates problem during the situation one of which you have mentioned in the video

1. Doors are having slight cross cut shape.. meaning broader at top and narrow at bottom. Does that make challenging especially while boarding the car? many owners of TUV300 mentioned that they got hit on their head while opening the door.
2. 15Inch types for 1800mm height vehicle is sufficient or they should have provided atleast 16inch wheels?
3. 3 Cylinder engines will provide more fuel efficiency of 4 Cylinder Engines?

सेफ्टी,बिल्ड क्वालिटी , पावर, परफर्मेन्स में एक्सीलेंट SUV है।पर दिखती ऐसी है कि रास्ते की सवारियां शेयर टेक्सी समझ हाथ हिलाये।

Is reviewer ko idea v nhi h ki Bolero kon se log use krte hn nd kis purpose k lye use krte hn. Mahindra is trying to change the look of old bolero. Nd they have nailed it.
This is best suv under 12 lakh real suv. People are saying that mahindra had done wrong by launching this but this is better than tin and dabba.

Vikas sir, you are the only reviewer who focussed on the wheel spin issue of TUV300. It was an headache for old tuv owners. later mahindra recalled and installed mld kit.
otherwise despite of rear wheel drive vehicle, tuv used to struggle even in little inclination that we have in our parking garage.
one more doubt i have.
now mahindra offering MLD on T10 optional model only and they named as MTT .
