Second Cutting Alf-Alfa Hay in Montana.

Used the Massey Ferguson 4707 with a New Holland 1475 to cut the hay. Then I attached the LMC 8907 hay rake to combine the windrows. Finally
I used the Allis Chalmers 7000 and New Holland 660 round baler to bale up most of the field excluding what the International 430 baler baled up. It was a busy week with another ahead of us. Looking for a good seat cover for the Massey 4707 if anyone has recommendations. ‪@TigerTough‬

It is certainly as true statement that the smell of freshly cut Alfalfa is hard to beat.

Glad i found your channel. I'm in Central Montana. I've been curious, what is the main reason for raking two rows together, does it save a lot of time, or does it just make a better bale, or...?

For us we always raked them to help dry and when we went to a baler that has a larger pickup capacity we just started raking them together. It saves fuel and time when baling. Some areas of Montana have small windows of dew in the morning of when they can bale without losing the leaves so every minute matters to them.

How did you break the throttle? And its not under warranty?

@@stevenbertrand8508 just came off in my hand. No the warranty is up. But Billings Farmhand has it coming for me.
