I have found collaging and just doing random things on paper without a strict thinking process very therapeutic. I suffer from anxiety, lupus, fibromyalgia, RA and crafting and gardening have been my saving grace. Love what you do Martyna. You are awesome at what you do. Lots of healing hugs ❤️

Hello Martyna, I think you are inspiring so many to be authentic and vulnerable. Knowing you need help in all areas of life is crucial for our well-being! I am a therapist and I live my life helping others find their truth and purpose in their life. So, I think what you are doing is so beautiful! I have said for years I was going to make videos for well-being and it has been one of those things I have put off. Thank you for doing this for so many in a world that can seem so scary at times. God Bless you! And God bless you on your well-being journey! Big hug to you, Trudy

I have been massively blocked in my creativity for the last 8 months or so. We're talking about a lifetime of my drive for art and creating that has never waivered. It was a wellspring that was there every moment of my life from earliest memory until 8 months ago. It just dried up and came to a halt. My family is perplexed. I decided that it was part of this war against truth going on in the world. The drugs/injections/food/emf are all combining to destroy the human spirit. Creativity comes from the heart. It is a creator impulse to MANIFEST in the world. That drive should last your whole life. So, darnit. They got me. I got blocked. But I'm coming out of it. I did a lot of journaling and I pinpointed the moment it was lost - and I took steps to remedy it. I noticed that it had to do with sleeping: multiple deficiencies, spiritual interference, nutrient, hormone, cognitive, signal disruptions. No one can get you through this but yourself. It is the dark night of the soul - humans are built to have a shadow self that they use to stay alive and learn lessons. But if you let your shadow self have free reign - you higher spiritual self cannot make positive change through the day. People in this world have been programmed to hate, fear, and distrust your neighbor and relatives instead of the criminals perpetrating it. You have to get the fire of GOOD/GOD lit under you and drive through this dark time. Your tender feelings do not serve a world at war. Have to gird your loins and get going. CREATE!

This is JUST what I needed Martyna! Every year, I usually make about 50 labor-intensive mixed media type Christmas cards! Everyone looks forward to them every year, and I really have to start on them in the early summer to get them all done. This year...not so much. I just can’t do it. I can’t get my mojo going. Maybe after the new year I can make New Years cards for everyone...but right now, I need to take the pressure off of myself, and just play with my paper, and enjoy myself in my craft room, expressing myself in a therapeutic manner. This wasn’t much different than your craft with me videos that you make...except that it was less ‘intentional,’ and certainly more poignant!
I can’t wait for the next craft therapy video. I need it, and it did lessen my anxiety level. ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

@@robinsutton4952 I retired last year because I mentally couldn't handle the stress. Then when I started crafting I realized I was stressing myself out over my crafts like it was a job. So after a year of grief therapy (I lost my parents) I decided to rename my craft room to my play room. Everything I love is in there. Even my old Barbie collection. I'm finally learning how to relax and play again.

Girl, I have realized that once your passion becomes your job, it changes everything. My family always say " you could sell this" & my answer is always the same, I know I could but then it wouldn't be a hobby that I love, but a job, so I can understand how your passion is still there , but has become a job now. I love collaging, it got me thru the " vid lock down" hang in there Martina, & I have missed you!!!

My dear Martyna, I am 73 years old and have suffered from anxiety and depression nearly my entire life. I also suffer from imposter syndrome. Since my artwork doesn't sell, I don't feel like I can call myself an artist. This series is wonderful. It is good for you as well as many of us.
One problem working (as a job) in a creative field is that for many of us (like me), deadlines shut down the creative flow. My sister, a creative writing teacher specially trained to teach the gifted, says some people take longer to “hatch” their ideas. I must be one of those. Adding stress and time pressure is the kiss of creative death. That made 30+ years as a graphic designer very difficult for me.
So, yes, I love your series and look forward to creating for the pleasure of it with you. I am sure I will not be alone!
Your page is gorgeous. I love the booklet of prints you were flipping through. I have not seen those in the US.

I learned this lesson the hard way. I made a business out of my love of antique collecting. I ran my antique mall for 12 years and it was very demanding. While I am grateful for the business and the income it created, it killed my love of collecting and looking for hidden treasures. I sold my business and have gone on to other things but I only create for the sake of creating.

    Your Therapist is right
I believe..I was or do go thru these times if guilt. And realized I would never do any sales at all if I first don't concentrate on doing this to express myself creatively first,c then the rest should fall in place later... Enjoy The Journey.. If you think of what you love doing as a job, you are going to end up hating it.....So... I'm just going to do what I can, follow my Intuition, bide my time, and Let God show me the way!!
Happy Holidays Martyna! Don't apologize for being yourself!! Take the advice written at the rim of your tea cup!! Plus, doing what you love..playing, it will I think turn into experience and learning how to deal with creative challenges you might face. Because you will know what to do and Dare To Be Free!!
Love and Hugs Dear...Yes, mortal mediocrity sucks sometimes...just replace the negative with reminders of what makes your soul soar.... I hope my thoughtful words will be of some help...I'm an older gal, so been around a while and still open minded and learning to explore new things, and accomplish meaningful fun in whatever time I am blessed to enjoy on this earthly dimension...
Cheers and Take Care! You are A Joy to observe! Thank You for your Time and Sharing your Heart out loud!🤗💝🕊🌹🌟👼💗🎄- 🙋‍♀️- Mindi from Iowa U.S.

You’ve had such a tough year with quitting your job and Covid. I think we are all in a different place than we were mentally and physically. I’m sure it’s hard to switch from creating for fun to a profession. Just start creating for fun and turn on the camera when you feel up to it. I’ve been wanting to start a glue book too so this is awesome.

Great video!! I'm sharing the video, this is information we all need to reflect on. I've been struggling with trying to do all the challenges and I've noticed I don't have any creative time or energy. "My creative ideas are more important than watching U-Tube or entering a challenge!" is going to be my 2022 mantra!! Blessed be. Namaste 🕉️🐞✌️

I'm a journal maker, just found your channel.
    Please would you try
    1000mg OMEGA3 caps..one a day.
    Research done on large number.
I live with depression and anxiety.
This has made a major difference for me. Don't know why research outcomes
    are not made known.
    Hoping this will help many.

I loved your video. I liked hearing your voice as I sew and recalled how hard it was to when I had to sell my quilt shop. I stopped sewing and my other crafts. It has taken 15 years to return to my hobbies: sewing, and planning. You reminded me the joy of hobbies can be just for that... simply JOY. YOu inspire me to add more to my planners and journals.
    Thank you!

Love your video! I didn’t know you could use wax in a journal. Here is a word of encouragement… God uses our pain to minister to others. You were a blessing to me in this video. I understand how you feel.. I am in the same place mentally. But when we reach out to others like you have it helps us as well as others. God says “Fear not for I am always with you.” Blessings to you and Merry Christmas!

So much going on in my life, a very close friend passed away just last week and i am helping her family with cleaning and selling her things. The problem is that they all live in another country. So it is rather all on me. Celebration of life is almost put together for this coming week. Crafting with you in this format is so perfect. It is therapy for me so thank you so kindly. Please keep creating with us like this. All you do is beautiful and the stress we put on ourselves to be perfect is just in our heads. You make my days so I am just so thankful for you. Hugs to you lovely lady.

Thank you for this wonderful video! It was very soothing. I think it is wonderful you are taking care of your mental health and helping those of us that also struggle to not feel alone. Thank you! I think this is an important topic. Someone close to me often tells me I should sell my cards. I think she means it as a compliment. Unfortunately when I tell her I prefer to make them for relaxation and donate them to charity or give them to loved ones, she always looks at me like she can not understand. I think it is wonderful that some people are able to make money off their crafts. It is just not something I want to do right now. I have enough stress. I want to keep my crafts for me and for people who could use some comforting from me. I am just starting junk journaling and glue booking as well. I’m excited to do something for myself just for relaxation. Depression and anxiety are very hard and having an opportunity to create things that are just happy and beautiful are a true help. May you enjoy having some time to create just for you! It is good for you!

Oh my goodness, all those yummy little books you have in that box!!! But, thank you, thank you, thank you for this series. I lost my mojo years ago. I have been puttering around in my craft room at times but just can not really get into the mood to really craft. Most days, I just sit there and do nothing. I am really going to enjoy this. And you really need to take time out for yourself and just do what YOU want to do we all love watching you create no matter what you do.

I am a new subscriber and I cannot believe my good fortune in finding you, both for the content and the timing. I am new to this hobby and I have been watching many crafters in my quest to learn all about the basics and techniques of making journals. Sadly, many creators who have been making and selling journals are losing the spontaneity and enthusiasm of creating for joy and personal satisfaction. It becomes so difficult when what you love to do becomes formula driven, business necessitated. As a viewer I was starting to see more and more mass produced journals that started to look the same apart from the theme or subject. We must never lose the feeling that comes from making something beautiful. We must continue to let our directions run free and follow what our hearts are urging our hands to make. I hope that these moments of free creation will bring you back to the organic process and pure joy. I love the quote you chose by Walt Whitman. It is something that can help us all. I will be recommending this series to many crafters who are in a similar mindset. Thank you for your lovely conversation and the companionship while crafting.

I deal with great depression and anxiety. Some days getting dressed is my greatest accomplishment. I think I need to look at my crafting as therapy and not something that HAS to be done. Thank you for your honesty. I only have my therapist to talk to.

Dajesz dobre emocje! Pamiętaj o tym!
