    Once you purchase the magazine it belongs to you. Same as Any book. Yes they are copyright ©
    So you can’t copy the magazine and sell the pages as digitals for example . However - as long as you are not defacing the magazine page ( creating something vulgar with it) but creating a pocket, or page in your journal or belly and for example you can sell that journal
    Example;
    Edith Holden
    You may not copy the pages and sell them, however, You may use the pages in a journal as pockets et et or a journal page and sell that journal. Hope it helps 💜

    YES YES !!! Magazines give me inspiration! They take me places I can’t travel to right now. I meet artists I’d never know otherwise. Stampington magazines and Daphne Diary give me such pleasure. I have plastic snap bag and I sort by season / color for the things I cut out.
    I use the items to put in my journal ( art therapy thank you I started a Martyna one )
    Or use to decorate belly bands pockets. I sometime use a recipe for a journal card. Yes yes yes I LOVE LOVE my magazines.

      Stampington has so many beautiful magazines. Not cheap but if you buy older ones you can get them cheaper. I get Daphnes Diary but they are costly for the states. I pay it because I love the magazine.

      These magazines are beautiful. I get them at Books A Million but when I order through Daphnes Diary I pay $20 for 2 books but $34 for shipping to US. I wish we could use the images in journals for sale since we pay that much for the magazine and shipping if we order them. I agree the subscriptions are so expensive especially with shipping to the US. Wish the prices would go down or atleast free shipping. Just found your channel and I am enjoying it. 😊

    Yes, I do harvest from magazines and have folders I put the pictures in, no particular style, but when I am lost for ideas a couple of days of random journaling and glueing in a book really helps the ideas come. Beautiful magazines.

    When I do this with my DD magazines, I save lots of things from the page. I even save the text because it’s often in lovely fonts. I keep all the text cut-outs in a separate box. I often collage these to a page to use for a background for tags, journaling cards etc.

    Oh sweetly - I have really enjoyed watching how you harvest Daphne’s Diary magazine! I found these magazines in our bookstore Barnes and Noble!, I too wanted to get a subscription but I am afraid if it would be expensive! They are only $19. 00 in bookstore in the states. So I have to keep checking to see if the next issue has come in! Love watching Take care 🤗🐝💖

    I’m lucky in that the magazine is fairly reasonably priced in Australia. So I always purchase 2 copies every month - one for the shelf and one to cut up 😉

    (Edited to spell your name with an y instead of an i.)
    Martyna, I think your Craft Therapy videos are genius and super healing. They are visual and auditorial salve for the wounds of our high-stress, manmade toxic environmental disaster, consumer-centric, pandemic-isolated, and worn-out bodies and souls. Please, please keep producing your Craft Therapy videos for this weary time.
    I love Daphne's Diary. Maybe we can convince them to have more production facilities around the world, so they could produce and ship it at a more affordable price. When I feel in need of a treat, I allow myself to purchase a copy. Under current conditions in the shipping and mail costs, I think the magazine would lose a substantial amount of money. Maybe all of us with limited funds, could send some positive ideas along with petitions to them and end with a win-win solution.
    I've heard some mixed media artists who don't care for Daphne's Diary, but I believe it is because they do more vintage things, using really old paper. Many of us enjoy both vintage and new, more accessible, vibrant colored paper.

      @TealandTattered  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for the kindest words Alice! I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me that you enjoy these videos and find them healing and helpful ❤ Oh, I would love it if they had more facilities so the international subscription wasn't that expensive!!

    Beautiful magazines, you're very lucky. I look through magazines occasionally for fussy cuts, but use them for collaging in. I have so many styles they change with my craft mood. You my dear girl have your own special style, which is lovely. Thanks for the chat.

    I’m creating a beautiful snippet from my gorgeous Tracy Fox new kit with vintage children and sweet sentiments !! Then I will cut it up in to small pieces and attach to ribbon lace with space to cut a snippet !!
    I can’t get a scan n cut because I’m “technically challenged” and I love to fussy cut!! ( it’s really my most favorite part of my journal building process. ) you will certainly benefit from it I think !! But in my opinion don’t give up fussy cutting completely. It’s such a wonderful stress reliever ( for me anyway)

    I'm like you. I'd like to subscribe, but in the States they are about twice the cover price. I usually get 1 a year as a gift from one of our bookstores, but they are always a season behind! I was given a Scan and Cut a coupke of years ago. I don't use it as often as I should. I want to try some of the internet downloads from their website, but haven't done it yet. The mats don't seem to stay sticky; so, I usually washi tape at least the corners and top edge of the paper.

    Hi Martyna, that is a gorgeous magazine. I drool at it in the bookstore. I'm sorry about how you're feeling after your booster. I had a very bad bout with that C bug last January.
