They should give a chance to the geekier users, as was done in Chivalry 1, and launch a contest to include the best maps created by the community... I think they could lean on this, and then before including them, it would just be a matter of polishing them if necessary. So much more content could be created if they allowed a few third-party developers to contribute.
I was expecting to face a sultan or a commander from Tenosia in the final moment... but the new map leaves you wanting more. Very slow development of new maps unfortunately
I think we would all appreciate it if at least every two or three months a new TEAM ARENA type map was released... Just killing your enemies objective... I mention this type of maps because they are much simpler to make, without having to think about story, complex objectives, team balance and equilibrium... It would then be great if they set a goal to give us at least two or three new TEAM OBJECTIVE maps a year... Chivalry has the potential to keep evolving, I really don't see the need for a Chivalry 3... What is needed is more creativity and development... and a passionate interest in the game from the developers...
A really nice change would be if they didn't fucking break standalone servers every time they update the damn game. Vote kicking is broken. Again. So people are just actively ruining the only decent part of the game and the shit is not fucking fun anymore.
To clarify, I mean to say that moving forward, I hope they will keep us in the loop more than they have and this statement on cross progression (although long overdue) is a good stepping stone for a more transparent development process.
