Samantha Barks did a really great job as Eponine in the film, 25th anniversary, and 2011 West End production in my opinion. The way she expressed her emotions facially and vocally was right on target. Some actresses just have it and some don't.
There is something incredible about this trailer. It is odd to feel like you could cry just by watching something like this? A perfect cast. I love Jon Robyns' Enjolras. He has such swag and seems to suit the exact behaviour I imagine from him. (Plus, he is gorgeous.) Greatest character ever.
The show tonight at The Barbican Theatre was brilliant. The whole cast were superb, every voice and the chorus and acting excellent. The scenery was so good too.
We're doing this for our yearly high school production and I am so auditioning I first saw this trailer in drama today and even the boys we're like ...bloody hell that's awesome xxxx
I know there's already a 10th and 25th anniversary concert, but if they're ever going to release a filmed production of Les Miz, I want it to be this cast. I saw them, and they were absolutely breath-taking; the best cast I've seen so far!
I watched this April at the hippodrome in birmingham it was AMAZING!!! I loved Garath Gates as Marius and OMG John Owen-Jones is the best Jean Valjean EVER!!!!!!!! I just want to watch it again and again
I must of watched this video 500 times now. I saw the show for the last time a couple of weeks ago and am so so missing the tour and that particular cast. Please please add more tour dates or do a second UK tour! Please! My thanks must go to the whole UK tour cast and production team, backstage staff because it is such a special show. Ive seen it three times and could watch it every night with that cast if I could. So hope I get to see it again with that cast! All brilliant it......love it!
I was also lukcy enough to meet John Owen Jones and Gareth Gates outside one of the theatre's at the interval so I was very excited and lucky to have a picture with them in their costumes and with John who had amazing make up on!
1:04 is totally my favourite part of the show singing Master of the House and also again when they sing Beggars at the feast. Ashley Artus who I am a huge huge fan of is just perfect for that role, he puts his heart and soul in to that character and is great when dancing on the table. He is very nice when you meet him and has a joke. I adore Lynne and found her very funny. I told her how much I loved the big pink dress she wears and she said it was nuts and a bugger to walk in. Lovely lady! fab!
Hi Chris, They will never do a video ,as it needs to be seen in theater .After all they want to to go and see it . And what a show it is . I remember they did "one more day " and went straight into the internal . And you needed it .It takes your breath away. Check out the 25th anniversary on blu ray at the o2 in London Its epic .
i seen this yesterday in bristol, and my friend beth davies is in it, so she let me go round the back to meet everyone, it was fab. the show it's self is so powerful, i want it to be on dvd. the enjolras who did this is Jon Robyns and i saw Owain Williams who i had the plesure of meeting. and he is an amazing Enjolras, i have seen videos of Jon and i much prefure Owain. But all the cast are so lovely nd will meet you if you get the chance :) x
I always love how they do the inspector's death. I will be dreaming the dream this Saturday at the Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey. I'm driving almost 4 hours to see this show and I can't wait.
No the girl who played Eponine in the 25th is going to be Eponine in the movie. This Eponine who played her in the west end and in the Europe Tour was in the Chorus of the 25 in at the end of the day and I believe Turning.
yea my 3rd time is this saturday. oh yea i have seen the trailer. i watch it every day. (it's on my ipod) cant wait to get the soundtrack. i want another trailer badly.
Katie Hall and Gareth Gates work so well together :) and i agree this Eponine does over exagurate her facail expressions but she has an amazing voice :D
I think in a stage production or in a movie the most important thing is the talent, and I don't mind if she's black or white now I see she is so talented and wonderful,I mean our skin colour isn't really important, we are all in the same world and she is beautiful in her own way, look at the 25' anniversary, there are Lea Salonga and Norm Lewis, she is asian and he is black but while I listen to their angelic and amazing voices I forget everything but the song and this is the magic of music :)
is there any dvd or blu ray version available of the 'dramatization' itself? I am not talking about the 'concert' version where they are only singing before microphones without any such 'action' or 'on-stage-spectacle' . i am talking about the complete musical drama full of action and props and 'spectacle'. can anyone help me out on this ground? i live in india and will probably never have a chance to attend any Live show. hence i'm badly in search of a dvd or bluray version of this wonderful musical drama.

the grantaire is pitch perfect in this version, he made me cry
When did Grantaire sing?
Grantaire never sang in this video. The only students that sang were Enjloras and Marius
@@aidanzimmerman not in this video but in the production
This is the greatest musical to ever be on a stage in both New York and London
How could I have missed this tour? This trailer practically brought me to tears.
Angriest Eponine Ever.
mega rouge 😂
You’d be angry too if someone stole your crush.
@@zachlabbadia fair enough
What's her name?

OMG was John Owen Jones Valjean in this poduction? Damn I wish I saw it, love that man
It all makes sense now! That's why I always love Enjolras, no matter who it is!
I have the cd of this cast of Les Miserables and I really love it and Les Miserables is my absolute favourite musical

So excited about this production coming to Broadway!! RAMIN finally in his Broadway Debut as Vailjean is going to be amazing!!
Without ASHLEY ARTUS. iT WONT BE THE SAME. Ashley IS MY FAVOURITE THENARDIER.
The show tonight at The Barbican Theatre was brilliant. The whole cast were superb, every voice and the chorus and acting excellent. The scenery was so good too.

Itro Infernape because it's the truth😂
Saw this cast over the top brilliant. God what a show. It was my 3rd time seeing this over a 15 year period. Best I have seen.
they should really show the jump off the bridge in all the trailers
Why is there such good clips but no dvd?!?!
We're doing this for our yearly high school production and I am so auditioning I first saw this trailer in drama today and even the boys we're like ...bloody hell that's awesome xxxx

I love the transition from Eponine to the background to reveal the barricade
Fantastic show went to see it in Birmingham,it was just brilliant.Loved Gareth Gates and John Owen Jones. Thanks for posting it up on you-tube
I watched this April at the hippodrome in birmingham it was AMAZING!!! I loved Garath Gates as Marius and OMG John Owen-Jones is the best Jean Valjean EVER!!!!!!!!
I just want to watch it again and again
Valjean was played by John Owen Jones who is currently touring the UK in Phantom of The Opera as the Phantom. Fantine is Madalena Alberto. :)
Ooh, Rosalind James!! One of the most unique Eponines I've ever seen. Her portrayal was absolutely flawless.
But none Eponine comes before Samantha Barks!
She plays eponine in the 25th anniversary and the other showing at the queens theatre
PhantomifyEponine imiserabole film Ilaria 619
was watching a rehearsal and then I got to see this. Cool, deffo don't need to go watch this now. This trailer gave me all of it. Loving it....

i saw this tour, I've never come out of a theatre with such an amazing feeling as this left me
I saw this cast in Cardiff in December 2009 they were fantastics and the effects like when javert jumps into the river were incredible
Dans la rivière enfin dans la Seine
The man who plays Jean valjean sounds absolutley amazing in the little clip of his!!!!!
I was also lukcy enough to meet John Owen Jones and Gareth Gates outside one of the theatre's at the interval so I was very excited and lucky to have a picture with them in their costumes and with John who had amazing make up on!

I got goosebumps from a trailer! Oh what's going to happen to me when I finally get to see it in London next month!

My dream job is joining the cast of Les Misérables {London} as Enjolras.
As with mine, but as Eponine. :)
I would love to play Eponine too 💕
Ian C Mine too, but as Monsieur Thenardier

There have been several movie versions through the years, but the film being released in December is actually based on the musical.
wow only 3 minutes but I got the shudders.. this musical is almost too intense to bear!!
ahhhhhhh seeing it tonight in Denver!!!! can not wait!!!
2:11 the most breath taking part of the trailer.
I saw this on Thursday. I went home to find the soundtrack and liked none of the recordings as much as this cast.
i seen this yesterday in bristol, and my friend beth davies is in it, so she let me go round the back to meet everyone, it was fab. the show it's self is so powerful, i want it to be on dvd. the enjolras who did this is Jon Robyns and i saw Owain Williams who i had the plesure of meeting. and he is an amazing Enjolras, i have seen videos of Jon and i much prefure Owain. Cosette - Katie Hall
Eponine - Lea Salogna
Fantine - Ruthie Henshall (Sorry Patti :P)

Coming back to this trailer... There were heaps of spoilers...
Cosette is from 25th anniversary and Enolras was a worker in the former.
i wish that on their tour this 2016 they choose the classic looks (costumes) rather than these more modern ones.
+bryan gabriel bangyay They're not exactly modern, it's just they haven't been distressed and dirtied as much as the London costumes are.
One word. EPIC
I saw the movie and read the book. So good and sad made me cry!!
Eponine was amazing!!!
Katie Hall and Gareth Gates work so well together :) and i agree this Eponine does over exagurate her facail expressions but she has an amazing voice :D
Omg so good!!
He was amazing!!!
I'm with you!

I LOVE LES MIS SO MUCH
I can't believe I missed this!!! Grrrr!! I remember seeing a sign and wanting to go, I never did though!! D:
Madalena Alberto (Fantine) is phenomenal!
Can we just realize Cosette is apart of "Lovely Ladies" in this video?
Yea mine too! Great cast
Muss man in London gesehen haben. einfach Super
Looks amazing!

Tapabrata Naskar there’s a soundtrack
There's the movie, which is pretty great.
Otherwise there's always the posted bootlegs you see on TH-cam (but they're really blurry)
There is a Spanish one available on TH-cam a proshot version but it is in Spanish look up les miserables madrid 2011
You're seeing it today! Have fun :)
@LIONE009 There is a CD of this cast, you can find it on Amazon or Itunes. It's called 'Les Misérables Live! - Dream The Dream'.
I have a CD of this.
Freaking awesome.
I saw this live in person, NBD.
1:50 - My favorite part.. I got so emotional ;x; SO EPIC.
YES.
I love the new staging - saw the tour :)
This Enjolras is the exact Enjolras my mind has been imagining for the past six years I've been in love with him - I mean, Les Mis.
Spectacular !
Are people silly?? This Eponine is AMAZING!!!
I knew it was JOJ as Valjean just by hearing his voice. I did not even have to see his face. Ashamed to say I squeed a little over it ;-)
Da! He's John Owen Johnes!!
yes! I wanna buy it too!!
