@@Brandon-kp5to, I don’t care what you call. I have the W-2 that says $100k+ on it. If you are paid less then it may be time to find a company that’s pays you what your skills are worth.
Then refer drivers just back up to a door. A flatbed has to be tied down his load, even tarp is loaded. Then vice versa to unload it and hes working outside in all weather.
60 hours a week, screw that. That's the point of being a local driver, not putting I all those hours. Unfortunately for most people, they do realize till the end, life is not about working the entire time your here. It unfortunate
@@DaJukes i dont think so and i hate to say it but ive had 46 trucking jobs in the past 5 years and most of them didnt pay OT i only work 45 hours a week …but i hear line haul is where the money is at …starting at 75-80 cents per mile here which is pretty good
This is going to be a kind of screwery, mixed comment. If your going to drive local your job should be 40 hrs a wk just like so many human beings, 1 day off is not good. It's no good. Min. Wagers are demanding/getting $18 per hr. Everyone else are now getting 4 days a wk rather than 5 days a wk. They even are demanding to get remote work working at home. What's my point? As drivers our hrs, pay & work need to be compared to these schmuks mentioned above. We must stop comparing our work to truck drivers. We need the same total pay based on 40 hrs a wk to 32 hours, not 60 hrs, as we would get for 40 hrs.
I have to give the content of this propaganda video a “TRU DE NATION .” There is no title or meaning in the dictionary for this phrase, it I invented this for videos like this . When you get labeled TRU DE NATION its not bad or it’s not good , it’s telling the listener that the listener is going through the ringer and has to supplement this content to not confuse the viewer. TRU DE NATION , could be very damaging to the brain if not used with the up most care it also has very evil content that when used causes major curses and nightmares that involve Africa and shady machetes , snakes teeth and tiger claws, so when you use TRU DE NATION just be careful that’s all and nothing bad will happen :)
The pay seems awful low for van drivers. Many at my company are making over $100k per year.
And what company would that be? Asking for a friend
@@deesplash7087 I drive for Barr Nunn Transportation out of Granger, IA.
I call bs

I make 32.24 an hour driving local and dry van home daily off weekends
Thats badass brother! 🤟🏽 safe drivings from TX !
I love how the rates of everything in life has doubled in the last couple years but not anyone's pay
Sick society run by crooks
Should be $30/hr minimum/starting and that's with ON-DUTY time
You can haul fuel locally in Chicago market for at least $33/hr (company truck)
Then refer drivers just back up to a door. A flatbed has to be tied down his load, even tarp is loaded. Then vice versa to unload it and hes working outside in all weather.
I’m a company driver.I get paid the same.($31.20 per hour)
I believe you also with the refer Van. You forgot to add on lumper fees if there's any.
Hey do you guys ever do a load by the hour, and standby time. Do you guys ever use a day rate with a 3-day minimum plus fuel and oil

Dry van drivers yall sucks for killing flatbed rates.
i make 30 an hour at estes dry van monday thru friday i would never take a trucking job under 27 an hour at this point
Do you get overtime pay?
@@DaJukes nope and if u do its after 55 hours
O really isn't that against the law?

I’m local LTL 32.86 I’m not in top pay yet.
I get paid $32 an hour to drive a ready mix truck
HAZMAT is where you board the Gravy Train.
Is overtime pay factored in?
Why are you multiplying by 49 when there's 52 weeks....3 weeks off in a year without a check seems a bit excessive
Take that up by 33% if they paid overtime after 40 ups baby
that seems low for a job u required to go to school for and get a lot of training for. ups and usps makes more an hour
Its befause these videos are inaccurate, and he's in Canada
He did it as flat rate. Didn’t add 20 hrs at time and a half. Do it again.
Bro said 60 hours a week like that's a normal workweek, what the fuck?

You need to figure it all on duty not driving time that you don't get paid for.
This has to be in Canada that’s kind of low
yea....trucking in canada is bs. sucks to be an owner operator and god forbid to be a company driver these days
Ttc operators make 10 more than truck drivers. If they work 60hours a week they clear 110k
Im a fueler Ronin do pay for tanker driving jobs
Damn just work at UPS at this point.
Mcd’s is 22 an hour why the hell would anyone work van freight
Awesome
25% for dispatch that's too much
Not much diff after taxes. Guy making less who manages his money properly will make more than the other
I'm at 32 an hour plus .76cpm
Fuck man doing 60 hour weeks forever sounds miserable. What do you even do with all that money you’re making
12 grand for that much extra work not worth it
You not pay overtime
All Wanna be Truckers stay away from this industry. Rates will bankrupt you
