Bought an R5, upgraded to an R12 a few months later. The R5 is great but "buy once, cry once" in sim racing. If you live near a Microcenter they carry MOZA and lots of sim racing stuff in store, no waits.
Your doing a great job with some good fun content. As for a wheel and pedals out of the 2 I would go with Moza. I haven't used either I run a simucube2 but from the bad press fanatec gets about it's after sales support I wouldn't go with them. It might be different in the US but in the UK they suck
Had a Moza R9 and it was great, but I sold it and switched over to Simagic ecosystem, and it's incredible for the price. Also it's mounting capabilities and industrial design I can see working in the custom rig better. It is a step up in price though.
Moza all the way for sure! The quality of the quick release and how easy all the software is, is unbeatable in my opinion. Jump straight to the r12. I started with the r9 and it is good for sure but for a little bit more the r12 is totally worth it!! Either way both company’s are great fanatec has been around forever for a reason for sure. Moza stuff is just super accessible and easy to use!
Its all good Homie!! just as long as you dont forfeit races cause that hurts your irating! ive learned that even if i crash out i sit in the pits until the checkered flag try to salvage as much of the irating as possible@@SimulatedShift
Can’t go wrong with the Simagic Alpha Mini! Loving the videos man!
After some research I went Moza R5 and it feels as good as it looks.
Thanks for the advice!!

Thanks brother!! I think I'm gonna go Moza!!
Moza has the best deal LOVE mine. I race sprints IRL & can tell you you get a better feel out of the Moza. I have tried both.
That's the type of advice and experience I like to hear haha!
