I would personally ditch the cat walk to the crown and add in a proper pipe rack with suicide fingers in the derrick. But of course add a ladder to the crown.
@@454ss_gaming I think you mentioned something about a minisub, that’s a bad or at least over complicated idea, I noticed the wellhead is really hard to align, you need to push like 100m of pipe down that flexes, 4 winches on all corners to lower the head works perfectly, and alignment is a pain, the drill pipe is VERY flexible, so you need to be able to move either the drill ship or wellhead with EXTREME persision in real time, and it better be EXACTLY straight, also you need to only drill like 10m deep after anchoring
@@rogervanbommel1086 That is actually what I was also thinking as an alternative, the minisub may be too complicated to align perfectly! Also, it may be easier to deploy the pipe with the wellhead already attached, if that is possible
