- I've never played against someone who defends THIS much against me like @silentscope88 has in this Capcom vs SNK 2 set. I was genuinely impressed by the amount of times this man has BLOCKED me. Let's see how I handle this new obstacle!

I have thousand and thousands of hours logged into CVS2EO on the original Xbox. I was ranked 3rd in the xbox leaderboard at one point under PhantomIceman and Foster Brute. Still remember playing this game every day all day. I just downloaded it again to play on Fightcade. Im super rusty and need to retrain myself but definitely want to get back into it. Beyond Nostalgic. Great content Justin. Keep it up.
CVS2EO will eventually get netplay back on Xbox Live, due to Insignia. Fightcade’s version is based on the original, which you’ll definitely need to retrain yourself for, due to roll cancel
Great stuff! I really liked that you played a wide variety of characters. Its incredible to see that youre so good with all of them. Silentscope played very well too. Always a treat to see this kind of high level, non cliché character games in CvS2.
or in general high level play, cuz i mean this stuff is great basically a straight up adrenaline hit to the brain!

I do agree ... but on the flipside it's kind of nice that the fgc equivalent of jocks aren't in there ;)
Maybe when Flycast's rollback implementation becomes as good if not better than FBNeo. I would love to play this more than anything.

The fact there is no rank for flycast based Roms is a bummer and the reason I don't invest my time in CvsS2 .
As a beginner, I don't know if I being challenged by a 10-20 years veteran and it's not fun for both sides.

Wow, the skill level here. I remember picking random teams as well and then having at least one solid character I could come back with back when I played Xbox live for hours every day. Both these players are way beyond me and seeing Justin defeat SS's main team is just incredible with the cast he chose.
I stayed playing this back when it was still just an import on the Dreamcast. In the old days, everyone had to have either a Sagat or Blanka to be tournament viable. So glad to see high-level play that's evolved!

Again, same caveat, when you're in an evenly matched fight. But, yeah ... it's just the funnest.

@@ShaneDouglas713 Literally made one up for Strider and even Asura's Wrath when he fought Ryu and Akuma. Morrigan can even disguise herself as a human so it's all a matter of Capcom caring. She's immortal or at least long living so just say she's older than she looks and got caught up with the Street Fighters out of boredom as one example. Pretty simple to do.
@@ShaneDouglas713 i don't think it needed, akuma is already a important guest in tekken under a storyline with kazuya even though he never was part of the mishima circle it doesn't matter now.

Well... I mean, defending is a key element in fighting games, so... Also, it'd be nice to see other Darkstalkers characters for a change. Morrigan sure keeps stealing their spotlights. When is Jon Talbain going to be playable in a crossover game? A werewolf that knows martial and uses nunchucks? Too badass to be ignored.

Silentscope is a great FG player.
The art of defense bro, so underrated in general but so powerfull when some ppl or team can do it very well.
Like Bivol vs Canelo, or Nicolino Locche vs Fuji, a perfect defense can be usefull like a great atacks.
Also almost all players based his train in combos and optimise offense, but only best do the same about improve the defense.

I think he's refering to the term "just defense". It happens when you block a few frames before an attack connects. It's also referred as instant block in other games
that sakura glitch alone makes me never want to play this game. Im sure plenty of other garbage like that

Bro at some point the defense meter breaks and the last few hits and the ending super aggravates the whole damage, otherwise it would be perhaps similar to a level 2 damage in c groove

Doubt it. It'll just play like SF and any SNK staple will be made to look bad.
Only if it’s actually developed jointly. I know that would probably be a nightmare logistically but still, having one company make the crossover by themselves isn’t the best idea for balance

Oh memories... my friends and I played this SO MUCH back in the day on PS2. Back then I couldn't beat my friends that played it, but one friend was just consistently impressed at how well I could JD. These days I'm not as good with the JD but I have gotten better overall so I can actually score some wins now.
