Lol So I am the singer of this band... or well.. the girl in the video. I guess I had some stage fright? I was just trying to be chill since this was shot as a spurr of the moment just to have some sort of visual with the audio. I didn't really think I would need to be super dramatic as if I was performing and didnt try. This was supposed to be more of a session video. The way I looked during this video "bored, not into it" was just me being chill. I was into the song in general though. I love this song... why else record it? I literally planned this cover out for years. Also the genre of the song is just the genre of my band. We didnt decide on just doing a "Numetal / metal cover" it is just what the song would have sounded like had we written it. Anyhow I am still always surprised to see that this video is still thriving in its own way. Thanks for all the love and the hate because both are keeping this video alive ;)

This is a great version of this song, but the original version holds a very special place in my heart.
Gotta say, i was going through all of the more recent covers of this song and was thinking "man theres something missing. Lemme just try this older one." And as i'm typing this. I realized what this one has that others dont.
It feels less like theyre just changing it to a metal genre, they made it feel like something that would genuinely come out of the game. It has the strength and elevation that makes you feel like you're ascending up.
This definitely made me feel ten times better today. Since its ten years old i hope theres a remaster

I found you guys on this song, it's my favorite, with, Sanctuary, Oh! My Apparition!, Carry On To Sunrise and Cemetery following closely behind. I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, as you guys can tell. I love every song you guys have. There's just something about the guitar, drums, and your voice Mel, that just touches my soul. :)

Honestly, I love it. The drums are masturbatory, the vocals are chilling and beautiful, love how the breakdown almost steered into post-rock/shoegaze. Super creative take that doesn't sound plastic.
