Great video, Tristan, thanks for sharing! @9:35, "This road is awesome!"--couldn't agree more. The hogsback section of Utah 12 is incredible! One of the best highways in the US!
I've been to the area where you camped. I heard that if you throw a moqui marble in a fire it explodes. We threw one in our campfire and in a few minutes it exploded loudly and shot shrapnel everywhere. We were hiding behind a tree just to be safe. Glad we did.
Nice video. My mom lives in AZ, 6 hour drive, I wish I would have explored more being close to those areas. It is illegal to collect mookie marbles in national parks now. I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying your videos (locations, cinematography, and your easy/informative narrative style). I’ll be retiring soon and can’t wait to visit some (all) of the places you’ve featured (provided travel restrictions are eventually lifted).
Utah is so beautiful. I have really enjoyed all these recent videos. The "marbles" were neat! I have learned so much from your adventures. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Carol! Utah is a gorgeous state. There are beautiful places in every state, but I think that Utah has the highest concentration or density of beautiful places of any state.
Tristan, your campsite looks relatively close to the Cosmic Ashtray. Red Breaks to the Cosmic Ashtray is a great day hike. It took us 2 tries to get there because one person in our group couldn't fit through the last slot at the end of Red Breaks and had to backtrack the entire way... We found a rattlesnake down in the Cosmic Ashtray. Probably fell in. Hopefully enough small critters followed suit. There is a great Moqui Marble field down from the Cosmic Ashtray also. I have subscribed to your paid site. Great information! Thanks for your amazing service you provide!
Thanks Moon Dancer. And yeah, I don't know why more people don't do the map thing. Makes it much easier for new viewers to jump in and figure out where you are, IMO.
Hi 💖 Hope you are doing well and keeping happy I wanted to tell you the rocks you were just holding in your hand Sells for 50 us dollars a pair . I love them . You were in my mineral rocks heaven ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yeah, it seemed best not too. Who knows, there may be even better campsites out there than this one as far as the moqui marbles go. Only way to know for sure is for people to get out there and explore for themselves. Thanks Barb.

Some very beautiful scenery. Especially on the road. Loved the hike to Cassidy's arch. Beautiful hike. My kind of hike. Great day. Great video. Thanks Tristan
The Cassidy Arch hike was really great. Long enough to keep away the riff-raff but short enough that it doesn't take all day. And there's great scenery the whole way. Thanks Davin!
I drive from Torrey to Escalante in early April. Very stunning scenery for miles. I liked the Henry mountains and the small ribbon of road with canyons in both sides.
