The Daewoo Cielo is basically a 1980's Opel Astra MK2 with a modified body ,even the dashboards could fit into eachother, alot of the parts except for the front body parts & trunk lid could fit both the opel astra as well as the 88-93 Pontiac Lemans (built by Daewoo) ,those engines can also be used in many Daewoo/Doosan forklifts as well, I had a 1990 Daewoo LEMANS GTE that I also completely rebuilt & restored from the ground up ,but unfortunately a large tree fell on it & crushed it ,I removed all the salvageable parts including the dashboard, engine, suspension, braking system, bumpers doors & wheels, the body was far too gone though ! This was a test car that wasn't sold to the public in the states & a korean domestic model with different body panels ,& bumpers

If this is a full restoration to a running car, it will be, without doubt, the best I've seen!
Watching you removing all bolts and screws using only hand tools feels like a mix of super powers and masochism. But will you really remember how to mount everything back in place?

@@therestoration2r878 Ahh but you can save it because it was made in Korea!! I live in Australia and even I had one lol Deiwoo Espero!! Great machine it was 2ltr 5 speed manual ,Fast zippy and awesome on petrol too!! Miss it!! I cant wait to see what u end up doing with it.😉👍Good Show!!

those are called bosch EV1 style connectors my friend.....good connectors

Actually they are Delphi fuel injectors made be GM ,but yes they use the same Bosch EV1 type connector

@@meyawabdulaziz3863 Bosch was the OEM supplier of the connector & injector, but GM also made them injectors themselves at Rochester (Delco) ,Delphi & others ,its a OEM design

those are a lot of screws and bolts to remove. I would think an cheap battery powered screwgun would help speed up removal, as well as reduce the strain on your wrist .

I had a daewoo nexia 1997 1.5 and it got flodded with rain because i left the window open but the car started up without problems
