@tomjoe81 Yes Sir, you have a remarkable gift for delivering straight facts without any rambling. The gospel's simplicity and beauty shine through in every one of your videos. Never stop, you are a real blessing. I have the bell on and watch every video. THANK YOU.
May I ask for your advice? I'm trying to reach my father, who is a bit younger than you. He's kind and loving but quite stubborn in his ways. Whenever his views are challenged or things get tough, he becomes very defensive. I continue to pray for him, but he wants nothing to do with "religion". For him, it's a personal matter that shouldn't be discussed.
He studied theology in his youth but quit. Recently, I found some Luther Bibles in the cellar, which have probably shaped his views a lot. He identifies as Protestant but dislikes Catholicism; however, I believe he leans more towards atheism and is very influenced by progressive left media. Any recommendations?

Thank you! Regarding your Dad - if he believes in God, try this: “Dad, since you believe in God - you would obviously need to do the Will of God to get to heaven. Do you agree?” He will agree. Then show him the will of God to have everlasting life - at John 6:40 - to believe on Jesus. THEN ask him: “Dad, are you willing to do the will of God - right now- to have everlasting life in heaven? I use this technique when a person believes in God - but does not want to discuss Jesus.

Light reading for all to see.
    Psalm 40.16
"Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified."
    Proverbs 3.5-8
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones."
    Proverbs 4.20-22
"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."
    1 John 4.10
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
    Romans 3.23
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
    Romans 6.23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
    Romans 5.8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
    John 3.16-17
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
    John 6.28-29
"Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
    John 6.47
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."
    John 10.28-29
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."
    1 Corinthians 15.3-4
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
    Ephesians 1.13-14
"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
    Romans 3.28
"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."
    Romans 4.5

    Ephesians 2.8-9
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
    1 Corinthians 3.11-15
"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."
    1 John 5.13
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

How are we able to be sure that we have come to KNOW Jesus(i.e. saved/justified)? Many claim to KNOW Jesus but they deny him by their WORKS, just like Paul said in Titus 1:16.
They profess to KNOW God, but they deny him by their WORKS. They are detestable, DISOBEDIENT, unfit for any good WORK.
And John tells us in 1 John 2:3-4 about the people that truly KNOW Jesus.

3 And by this we KNOW that we have come to KNOW him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Whoever says “I KNOW him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
So, the Bible clearly says that whoever says they KNOW Him but does not keep His commandments(plural) is a LIAR!! Plain and simple.
The gospel that is taught to many people today has been reduced down to just "faith alone". This false gospel of "faith alone" has made following the commandments of Christ null and void. Obeying His commandments have been eliminated from the gospel and have been made subsequent and optional to salvation. Walking in the Spirit has been made optional as well. This false gospel of "faith alone" changes what Jesus said in Matthew 7:14 - For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Instead of following the biblical teaching on salvation in Christ, they follow this false gospel which tells them that they can be saved by "faith alone", apart from having to keep the commandments of Christ.
By teaching that we do NOT need to keep the commandments(plural) of Christ as the gospel, the saving power of the gospel has been neutralized. The end result is that millions of people have been deceived by the devil's masterpiece into thinking they have eternal life in Christ when they actually do not. These people do not really KNOW Christ.

The saving gospel is defined at 1 Cor 15:1-4 - the ONLY thing a lost person can do is BELIEVE in Jesus. You are MIXING “salvation” (faith in Jesus) with “sanctification/discipleship” (work/serve Jesus). FIRST, you get saved, THEN you work/serve. You are making the mistake depicted in video 163. Plz view that video. Thanks! 👍🙏❤️

@@tomjoe81 1 Cor 15: 1-4 is a summary of the gospel, not the whole gospel.
Do you believe that people are saved by faith alone?

(Eph 2:8) 2:42 ”For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; Yes, saved by grace alone, through faith alone - in Christ alone.
