Kaas Pathar is located in Satara District of Maharashtra, India. Kaas plateau is a plateau located around 25 km from Satara and 20 km away from Northern part of Koyana Sanctuary. Kas Pathar also known as Valley of Flowers. Kas Pathar named after Kas Village which is located near Kas Pathar.
Kaas Pathar falls under the Sahyadri Sub Cluster of the Western Ghats, and it became a part of a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2012. Kaas Pathar is a plateau made from volcanic rocks in the Satara district of Maharashtra, and comes under the biosphere of the Western Ghats.

There are are many hotels nearby you can ask them, toilet facilities are available by kaas pathar authority

Firtst You have to reach Satara by train. And from Satara bus stop catch bus to Kas Pathar. Don't know about bus timing. You can also hire Taxi to reach Kas Plateau.

Bahot hi over rated jagah hai, jane ko dhang ka road nahi, bakwas jagah hai... Itne flowers ab nahi rehte waha..sirf camera show hai ye... Waha jake dekho, aisa view nahi milta, I have been there thrice... And it failed to impress me and those who came with me at different times
