Grew up with this, tin soldier another great song. 60s/70s music bands were absolutely the best. Never has there been a generation with such great bands since.
I hadn't heard this song since I was a kid. When I was around six. Then one day I heard this song and it brought back this feeling and memories I hadn't experienced in years. Even to this day it's almost haunting. Great song!
This song haunts me. I was born in 1957. Growing up in the sixties I have memories that are not clear but are in the fringes. I feel like I have lost the knowledge of something beautiful and will never experience it again. All that's left now is old age and death.
Wow Terry did such a great job with that song. I'm proud to say my generation grew ip with the very best songs. Country, rock and gospel all were great in those days.

Grew up with this, tin soldier another great song. 60s/70s music bands were absolutely the best. Never has there been a generation with such great bands since.
Sounds so like Elvis. Great voice.

Have loved this song my whole life. (75yrs)
Thanks for your nice comment!!🙂🙂
I hadn't heard this song since I was a kid. When I was around six. Then one day I heard this song and it brought back this feeling and memories I hadn't experienced in years. Even to this day it's almost haunting. Great song!
Thank you for your nice story !!😁
This song haunts me. I was born in 1957. Growing up in the sixties I have memories that are not clear but are in the fringes. I feel like I have lost the knowledge of something beautiful and will never experience it again. All that's left now is old age and death.
hi Paul sometimes i have the same feelings about memories thanks for your nice comment !!🙃
The 60s are a lost era so different to now people had better values and morals.
My mother thought it was Elvis singing this awesome piece, when she used to listen to WCBS FM. Hey so did I. Good job Terry Stafford 👏 👍 👌 🙌 😀
Thanks for your nice comment!!!🤩

Leider sind die besten der Sänger und Musiker verstorben und niemand kann die Lücken Schließen. Diese Harmonien zu Singen ist Fantastisch.
Elvis is the much better version to Terry's easily.
Muita semelhança, pouca diferença!

I also thought that it was Elvis and I was 13 when it was out. I bought it and I fell in love with Terry Stafford. He was really good looking too. I was told later that he wrote a lot of songs like Amarillo by Morning that George Strait had such a hit on.
