It's Pomegunate, not Pomeguanate, sorry about that.
Edit: Lord Bamboo's rarity is blue (rare), not green (uncommon).
Also i think he is made for front attack(like bonkchoy or zerosse)
That is why his range is trash and huge close damage

Seeing a plant actually having a death animation is actually pretty brutal to me
The only other plant to have a death animation in this game is Tall-Nut at level 2 or above. After being eaten, he will fall over when his health reaches zero, crushing zombies in front of him. At level 2, this has a 50% chance of happening, and a 100% at level 3.
But yeah, Bambrook's death animation is more brutal, he literally gets split in half.

To be fair to Zorrose, almost every single plant in the game has a delay before it starts attacking a zombie. It's just that Zorrose actually has an animation for this unlike almost every other plant. Zorrose also seems to only experience the attack delay the first time he's played.

@@SenKichita Pretty much the entire plant is a reference to the fictional character Don Diego de la Vega, better known as his alter-ego Zorro, who first appeared in the 1919 novel The Curse of Capistrano. (later republished in 1924 under the name "The Mark of Zorro", after a 1920 silent film adaptation of the book's events.) Aside from the plant's name, its use of a rapier, costume, and the boosted plant food effect (where it carves a Z into the ground after it finishes the attack) are also references to the character.

I loved using Zorrose. Probably because he’s one of the few plants I had that’s tier 2-3, and his design looked cool. Never knew about the tier 5 attack though.
Edit: Fun fact, Lord Bamboo's design is a pun on the Chiense word for firecrackers. If you translate it directly, it literally means "Explosive bamboo".

I think Chestnut might just be my favourite plant from the chinese version of PvZ2.
Most of the plants from the chinese version either don't fit the game's art style properly or are extremely unbalanced, however not only does Chestnut look like something that could be in the global version, but it also seems pretty balanced.

@@banglawarlock3947 with just 50 suns and a fast-ish recharge, it can destroy most levels single-handedly
@@muk_is_superior it can't deal with massive amounts of zombies, it doesn't 1 shot most zombies for the sun cost , think about it 3 shots takes 150 sun and still fails to kill anything stronger than bucket head which something like cherry bomb can do very easily. Also needs human interaction to attack which means if there's an imp launched to column 3 and you somehow missed it, you might be in big trouble

Chest-nut seems like an actually pretty decent stall plant. I've always really loved the concept of "plant sends out its own dudes" so it's great to see another one.
I honestly like the levelling up system in the Chinese version. The levels end when they feel like they’re supposed to, and none of the plants feel bad or broken to use regardless of what level they are (except for a few).

Ent, broken
Bad and broken, in gaming terms, have different meanings. Bad is still the same, bad, meaning that the plant won't be able to deal optimal results. Broken, meanwhile, means it's crazy good, Ent is an example, he can tank 5 zombies and will still be alive, and if you level Ent up, he might actually kill them.
The games literally use plant and zombie levels to bar your progression.
each zombot in a word requires you to 3-star every level in the world. 2 stars are gained from each level's "hardmode", where zombies are leveled up and require higher-level plants. This is a problem because the conveyor levels or levels that pick your plants for you don't level up your plants thus you can just get stuck on a world because your plants aren't high enough level. Plus getting high level plants early on just makes the game boring.

Chestnut is a pretty unique plant and an interesting take on the wall plants! I would have loved to have it in the international version!
its art is pretty aesthetically interesting too. it could exist in the international version pretty comfortably with little to no changes
I feel like Pomegunate should at least deal area of a effect damage to make up for his awful range. Also, making Zorrose have a sword's fight with a Swordsman Zombie was such a missed opportunity.

@brimstonerobe But with Fanilla it has a lot of advantages compared to Pomegunate. Including:
-Fanilla Being 75 sun, that's 250 sun cheaper than Pomegunate.
-Fanilla can be levelled up to Level 5, which allows it to kill a Basic Zombie in One hit.
- Fanilla has area damage, unlinke Pomegunate.
Pomegunate is so garbage it doesn't even look like a pomegranate

Yo Lord Bamboo seems quite OP if timed correctly. And Chestnut's look has the potential to be nightmare fuel
He has a 5 second recharge. Most instakill in international pvz2 take above 30 seconds to recharge.
The Chest-nut seeds interaction with Shovel Zombie is so fun and cute, it's like "Daddy daddy look, this man is playing with us, weeeeeeeeeee"

Zorose is a invest plant,It's commonly used in arena and penny persuit because it's Attack damage,plant food and short cooldown at lv4

It is too bad for what it is worth, it is too expensive, does low dps(even the pf if bad) plus the seeds have too little hp
I doubt chestnut is suppsoed to be a attacking plant but more of mix between endurian and inf nut
@@1971taks i know but if it is a mix of an infi nut and a endurian then it sucks because the seedlings combined probably have half the health of infi-nut which has half the health of a reg nut
@@helckho3875 utility wise yes it is better then your bassic blocker since its like primal wall nut it blocks 3 garg hits and also is ignored by things that would move and disable plants making it better in leveles that have lots if disabling zombies
@@1971taks yes, but they dont come out as fast as primal nut and in most scenarios it'll be eaten before even 1 comes out. Trust me, I've been there
Pomequanete definitely has potential. Pea-Nut from Eclise (☹️) works similarly and that's one of my favorite plants to use.
He just need a damage buff and will work just fine, not able to kill an imp is just sad

Man, Zorrose actually had a pretty good concept. Good name pun, good design, amazing mechanic, but just performs underwhelmingly. He should be buffed

chest-nut and zorrose are actually interesting plants, I wouldn't mind that they were in the international version
I think it'd be cool of Zorrose unlocked a new move for every level. E.g,, parrying to avoid damage from a zombie bite, a sword swing that can hit a 3×1 area in front of it, a stronger version of the forward attack that targets zombies behind it, etc.

1:43 - sun costs in PvZ2C are incredibly weird. They've made Spring Bean and Sweet Potato cost 250 and 300 sun respectively
Spring Bean costing 250 was a bug that they fixed. Sweet Potato used to cost 300 in the international version as well, they just never reduced her cost here.

Two questions about Chestnut: If the seeds are in the same tile as another plant, which one gets eaten first?
Also, what happens if the seeds get pulled forward, but the Chestnut itself doesn't (like if you have the Chestnut and then a Radish directly in front of it, for example)
Some of the seeds get eaten first, but the zombies can still eat the plant if the seed is too far to the left.
For the other question I'm not too sure, they might go back to their original position of just stay there.
Based on the fact that they move to their limit when moved by Escape Root, when moved by anything else should probably move back.

Honestly, I see potential in Pomegunate. He was executed badly with his cost and range but a plant that can shoot a extreme amount of projectiles in a limited area is quite interesting and possibly good.
I feel like zorrose is a cool idea, a piercing attacker that benefits from weaker units being in front, which I think would pair extremely well with iceweed. I think if they gave that attack a bit more range, it would be nice. I wonder if it pairs well with acidic citrus, with one making enemies weak while the other uses the weak enemies to do large group dps.

Chest Nut seems like a pretty cool competitor to Infi Nut as a defensive plant. Self-regenerating, and short-range plants can be planted between the Chest Nut and its' children, maybe even on them if the hitboxes play nice

- And Zorrose may suck a bit, but it can be redeemed in higher levels also can be useful against High Hp zombies
Zorrose is very cool aesthetically, but that darn arming time kills off half the reason to use him. Also, his damage could be a lot better.
I feel like lord bamboo is kinda busted, 5 second cool down, 50 sun and can almost kill a robo cone, that seems very useful

I unlocked the Chestnut guy from some random vasebreaker loot box thing that I had a free try on. He’s actually really fun to use and I’m glad I managed to unlock him.

The thing that spawns seeds is actully very cool the excavator zombie thing makes it very unique and it could be added with a little fixing like when they use plant food effects for a very slight moment it shows a red box where a costume should be but other than that it could be in the actul game😅
If any plant should be added to the international version it should be chestnut. It just has such good animations and fun gameplay, if any chinese plant deserves a chance in the spotlight its this guy.

though, its a tiger grass but it sends out 3 tigers instead of 1 (they also don't grow), but given the fact they added wasabi whip, a better bonk choy, chest-nut could definetely be put in the international version.

Zorrose is based on Zorro, a Mexican Robinhood (fictional) who's a skilled swordsman and a masked warrior and his signature is leaving a "Z".
Damn, back then I used to wonder what crazy ability the deranged grinning Chinese exclusive fruit thing actually do. After forgetting him for years, I can positively say that this video ruined my childhood, thank you Flag Zombie, would watch again.

The other 3 are
Rafflesia (high cost, low damage speed)
Plum Blossom (high cost, low damage)
and
Jackfruit (the worst of the 4 due to it being almost completely worthless)
Also Snowy Cotton. While her snowmen do massive damage, they mostly miss the target
Idea to remake Pomegunate
Sun cost: 200
Durability: 450
How it works: When any zombie is in it’s lane, it will shoot a constant barrage of projectiles occasionally losing accuracy and hitting the other surrounding rows. When Zombies are close (like 1.25 tiles) then he will start using a spread shot similar to the original attack but with slightly more damage and projectile lasts 4 seconds longer
