Yeah the fact the maps are not that big and apfsds is so easy to estimate, its just experience and playing the game so much it becomes second nature, if you are lasing below 1k or so with APFSDS youre doing it wrong , Like i can just slap people across the map with the tiger 2 long 88 as played with that gun so much i dont think about the ranges anymore i just do it. Also the fact every map is a dogshit city map, 9.0 and above need 2x bigger maps that red desert... people just lack the skill and are lazy and want a world of tanks arcade type of game.
@@madcat3.0 i would say there are some similarities but shooting an actual tank nowadays the FCS fire control system does it all for you, you just aim at the centre of target, but when you are using your auxilary sight then things get abit cheeky, as you have to account for the tank you are looking at their speed plus your own speed, the direction they and you are going in, there is quite alot to consider , playing warthunder does help abit though aha.
I got the canadian leo in warthunder. I know people say its not worth it but i got it mainly to help me grind and because i am canadian i thought it would be cool to use a tank that my country uses I enjoy hull down sniping in the canadian leo as it is very good at it same with all/most leos I think. I also like rushing around the map and destroying anyone i can. I personally don’t think the speed is a issue but that is just my opinion.

Flies a slow plane directly over the battlefield and gets shot down. While I cruise at mach 1.2 in the statosphere and pick off aa at will lol. SP needs to be raised drastically for aircraft imo.
I absolutely loved Alberta, spent as much time in Calgary and Lethbridge as possible when deployed for training to BATUS. Avoided Med Hat where possible though…
I like the composite sides because it can actually completely stop autocannon rounds with around 130mm of pen FLAT ON. You can have spaa or IFVs flank you and you just shrug off side shots like they do no damage. The only thing they can do is kill the engine

I'm a canadian and was very excited for this tank to come out, but $90 CAD is insane! I know war thunder vehicles are usually around that if not MORE, but still I think that's outrageous for Gaijin to make us pay nearly $100 for a virtual tank (plus premium time and 2500 GE) but still!
i am kind of mad at gaijin because they screwed it up. first of all this thing should have the same armour as a 2A7, it should fire Dm53 not KE-W the camo netting irl reduces the thermal contrast to the surrounding terrain by around 50% from a regular tank tho for balancing purposes i understand why it wouldn't in game but yeah it sucks that they didn't stick this thing at least at the end of the British export line...

Dont buy it if you are thinking it has armour similar to 2a5,6,7 but at a lower br…it was advertised as having composite armour package which will provide almost similar protection to the ones found on 2a7 series tanks…due to this the tank will be able to bounce or survive hits from most kinetic and chemical warheads at its br…this whole line was removed from the dev blog and in game this tank armour performs nowhere near in compare to 2a7…so in all honesty its an 2a4 at 11.3 fighting 11.7 just cuz u have good thermals and good round
hey twice yea no they buggered up big time advertising it but it is a good tank for mobile fighting just don't rely on its armor which i keep saying you never should at top tier ever it has a good round good bonuses and overall okay protection at loooong range but it wont save you buy it only if you like playing the 2a4 and want to fight like its a leo 1
10:15 Well in low-middle BR where there is no radar/missile AA CAS is a problem. In high BR where that stuff is a thing, the AA is the problem. Both cases are annoying.
Another example of Gaijin hating Britain, the canadian line should be in the british tech tree...but then britain would get leopards and they dont want that.

Balancing probably, I dunno, to be fair tho.. I dont want the British to have a Canadian Leopard together with their T-90 and Challengers (UK would have gotten it since other canadian vehicle like the Sherman anti air are also there)
