I think S at 6.42 should be called complex power and not apparent power since it's a complex quantity. The term apparent power refers to the modulus of the complex power.

The part where you say "I'll let you do that" is the only part I need help with. I don't know how to calculate j1k without knowing frequency and inductance.

i personally use wolfram alpha. just type your numbers and wlalah! you'll have the answer you were looking for
