'The dead will rise': Gettysburg national park vandalized, suspect identified

- Police announced Wednesday that they have identified the person accused of vandalizing parts of the Gettysburg National Military Park.
Rock carvings and spray-painted graffiti are just a few examples in a string of vandalism incidents across the city.

So has a warrant been issued for the arrest of the Vandal. This is a Federal Offense and deserves the full jail time, fine, and restitution.

Gettysburg police have released the name of the suspect in recent vandalism in the borough and at Gettysburg National Military Park.
Investigators said charges are pending against Suzanne Weiser, of Fairfield.
Please don't worry about punishing the perpetrator. Just post their name and address online and let justice take its course.
"Extenuating circumstances" has a way of sounding like some local good ol' boys are taking their time.

I'd love to know what the "extenuating circumstances" are as to why they won't show the person's picture, though I have my suspicions. (I suspect "Coulter's Law" is in effect here...)
I had to notice this non-Christian reporter fails to recognize the graffiti had crosses and a heart. Not just "lines". The suspect named by police may be a misguided individual or just a crank vandal and time will tell. The law will be enforced, so everyone calm down. Luckily the damage was removed, but penalties still apply. Justice will be served.

Things were fairly good until Ronnie Reagan closed all the mental hospitals and pushed all the inmates onto the streets without treatment or homes. Two of my great great grandfathers fought hard in this battle, both becoming permanently diabled, and claiming pensions from the U. S. Government, because they fought in Wisconsin regiments, on "the winning side." The desecration of so hallowed a place is an effrontery to the nation. The perpetrator(s), if identified and convicted, should be required to make things like they were before the vandalism, and required to provide such community service at the park as the local community persuades the courts to impose. Members of my family have fought in every war in our nation's history, from the beginning, with the single exception of the brief Spanish-American War. I myself I am Marine. I am deeply offended.

Not really new. Gettysburg has been vandalized before. This is more extensive but it wasn’t all that long ago the Peace Light was graffitied.
I commented on another site about this here's my view.... 5 years total for length of war NO early release and $200,000 dollar fine for the total of service men that fought on both sides during the three-day battle.
