Drums? Saunders playing electric bass? (after Kimmell, I'm guessing). As usual, the speed of the evolution of the songs - and now instrumentation - is astonishing. Thanks for this recording. A lot of 1st for me. The boys playing by themselves, Sierra's walk on intro (olde time style), Drums (who is this?), electric bass, Josh's bass mandolin(?), Oliver's amazing voice and the way they stop Your Cheating Heart to make sure the gentlemen in the audience is taken care of and okay (and how Sierra comes out from backstage to put eyes on him. New tour manager apparently. Just genuine, top shelf all around. 2024 is going to be some year. Excited for Sierra & Co..
Great assessment In my opinion absolutely every musical thing they do and change they make is spot on and exactly what is needed for this stage in Sierras development. And yes, a lovely performance in every way!
It's on my birthday but I'm in Canada and I'm not allowed in the states cause of freight train violation tickets, but I'm going to see her September 10 in Toronto!
I love how the audience was really great and I know it made the band more fired up. Best show ever. But did anyone catch whst Sierra said after the Hunter song. I played it back a few times and couldn’t catch it. Something about they want us to forget.
Right, really anything other than just her voice is somewhat distracting...I'm up in the air on it. Drummer seems to respects her voice, and like the others, fits in well while giving her voice the space. But I don't think she's going to allow herself to be pigeonholed into anything. Even if she's self-proclaimed Old Time.
Lovely Loving kindness. True showmanship to go on while "healing". But I hate to hear you strain your voice like that Sierra. It's a treasure and must not be squandered. Get a vocal coach ... darlin' please. Nothing lasts forever and that's a long long time. Care and healing of that instrument will guarantee its preservation into your next phase of life, where Love is just as poignant and peace is the same dream it always is. Poppa E
Thanks for your feedback. I'll try to do better next time. Unfortunately, we were running late. I hit record right as I set my camera up and I didn't feel like fucking with it at that point.
@@nachos4twoYou did a fabulous job. My dear friend is actually in the Xponetial video. Way behind stage getting photos with Funkatron. She knew I'd fume she didn't get up front. Again, thank you for this. Big love from Philly
@richardwarren449 That Xponential set from 9/19/21 in Camden, NJ was the BEST. With Josh Rilko (mandolin player) being out with Covid, Josey Toney shone in all her glory. Wow is she good. Toney GETS Ferrell's music and knows how to embellish it in ways that don't take away from Ferrell's singing. My dream is for Sierra Ferrell and Josie Toney to headline an act together. If only...
Thank you for sharing this pretty cool show
She jumped down from the stage because she threw a guitar pick to the guy next to me and missed. She’s so kind. She took pictures with us.
Yes, West Virginia Waltz Lady...I'll never say I'm sick, I'll only say I'm healing ! Thank you for a happy take-away.
Damn! What a show. I've been to over 300 conderts in my 68 years and that rates up there with one of the best.
The hecklers man lol she is so awesome!!! Been following her since her basking days in NOLA😊
Thanks Stuart Kocher for the recording, Sierra Ferrell & Band You will have another TOP year, love You!😊😉😊

The word you're looking for is octave mandolin. 👍
Great assessment

I have 4 extra tickets to her show at Warfield Friday March 8th. They aren't resaleable so I'm seeing who wants to go.

i was there. great show!
Thank you for sharing, you did a great job keeping people around you quiet! Lol thank you a bunch!!!
Love how everyone went dead quiet when she came out.
By midway through 2024 they got the light show down.
Thanks for recording this amazing band/show Stuart! This is so good it could be put out as a live album! 🎶🎶🧨🧨
What a great show to be at !!
Great job on the video! First time seeing the spread out with drums version and they sound good. Catching them in Milwaukee in April. Cheers!
I’ve been waiting for the drummer to arrive for the last 2 years … finally!! Amazing 🤩
Nice
Thank you for this great video of Miss Sierra
Happy New Year with Sierra Ferrell!
❤❤❤ She has so much talent.

Muchas Gracias 🎉!!!!!!!!!
HA third time time great band, Dell Preston
She’s amazing. ❤ Wow.
Nice vid, thanks. I’ve never seen Oliver take lead vocals - maybe they should do Ready or Not/Holly Roller together.
West Virginia Mountain Momma !!
So lovely! Is her hair short? I can't tell if it's rolled or if she cut it? I love her!😊
I actually like having a trio without the drums; more old-timey.

I love Sierra, and would enjoy seeing some closeups. My favorite video so far is the Xponential festival. Much better than this.
