Yes I feel so..because for open system heat content cannot be defined by internal energy alone. Flow work also needed. Hence heat content should be the enthalpy.
Sir, for question A-06, work done by gas is negative, internal energy change is positive. So, net heat transfer should be -129 kJ (negative)( ie heat is transferred out of the system). Please explain sir.
Hii!! Hope u r doing well!! I have a doubt in this lecture!!Plz have a look @ 8.40 video timing!!Why you are not using directly polytropic heat transfer formula!!! Nd in your solution you can not directly use Work of compression as you derived it by considering whole cycle and this question is asking about heat transfer in compression process!!Nd if it is so also, why mine nd ur result is nt matching!! Thanks for your anticipation!!!
please understand one thing that the compressor is a steady flow device you can not apply the formula of non-flow process (integral p dv) to flow process (integral v dp)
I really enjoyed this video. Very organized. I will model it on my website.
10:11 value of C=0.02825
8:18 is it also used for open system ? h1+q=h2+w isn't it holds good for obtaining q ?

W is integral vdp and not pdv
This video quality level is so professional. What kind of software and hardware did you use? I would think Microsoft OneNote but I'm not sure.
Yes you are correct
Thanks for appreciation
Sir,mechanical efficiency is bp/ip
Nicely explained sir,Thank you
Nice video sir...
Thanks for providing the numericals sir
A-06 Sir should we subtract the W while applying the first law, as it is work input to the compressor.
Sir,
for question A-06, work done by gas is negative, internal energy change is positive. So, net heat transfer should be -129 kJ (negative)( ie heat is transferred out of the system). Please explain sir.
What is FAD and why this expression involving free air delivery gives us mass flow rate??
Very nice explained sir
Thanks I m glad that videos are helping
Sir compressor GATE ke liye important hai kya??
the clearance volume is 5% swept volume...does that mean we can take clearance as 0.05 ??
I don't think so!
0.05 times Vs
Khup Chan sir
Sir when inlet and outlet diameters are given in compressor and which formula will used to find power required and isothermal efficiency
use Steady flow energy equation
Sir, please tell me formula to calculate screw type air compressor efficiency. I must need it to my routine use in industry.
Therotical w by actualwork
Sir @12:11 I think we know the N, it is given 120 rpm in the question.
Please clear my doubt
we had replace LN half of the piston speed and not N
@@sunilmohodmh31 sir agar hum aisa nahi karte aur N ka value 120 rpm daal dete toh woh wrong kyun hota? Not getting this concept
you have two unknown D and L and if we put for N then we can caluculate Vs and not D and L
@@sunilmohodmh31 okay sir

Ur using same work input formula for both problems with clearance and without clearance
Clearance has no role in work
Thankyou very much sir
Sir plz centrifugal compressor pe vdo upload kijiye
THANKS A LOT SIR
Sir, in (A-02) mass flow rate = 0.038 kg/s
Yes, correct
Nacting?
Single 1
Double 2
@@sunilmohodmh31 thank you sir
Thanks Prof...
But we have to use first law for open system write because it's open system Q=U2-U1 +W we use basically for closed system
Nice
Work to the compressor should taken negative....
