I'm going to try re-bushing my first clock, it's an E. N. Welch 30-hr "Cottage" clock. It needs perhaps 2 bushings.
This will be my first real overhaul of a clock movement, as it also needs a new mainspring.
Quite a challenge, but i am eager to learn...

Why don't clock makers use stainless plates or at least flanged bearing for movements? It would save the customer a lot of money & aggravation. I know they make small sealed bearings.
