This whole series was so touching. What a good hearted person you are. I won't forget your story.
I believe your stomach condition may have been caused by pesticides on your food. I developed a severe stomach condition back in 2010 where i was left unable to eat most food without vomiting and suffering severe pain and my esophagus has narrowed and actually closes around my food when i swallow certain foods, like eggs and egg noodles, causing great pain. I recently discovered that the number of cases of people with this condition has sky rocketed since 2000 and that that is the year that farmers began using many more pesticides than ever before on their crops. Some researchers believe it is absolutely caused by pesticides on the crops.

That is a distinct possibility. Thankfully the stomach pain has largely gone now. I had tried to take bike salts in an effort to reduce it, but it did little. I’m now on a more regimented diet which has helped a lot, and with addition of digestive enzymes everything seems to be back in order. I will look into the pesticide issue though, as I’ve not heard about it before!
      Thank you! 🙏

This is facts. You must go organic and plant-based to be fully healthy. Pesticides are the biggest disruptors of health in the world.

Your story is very touching. You are amazing , kind and gentle person, probably one in the million. Living donors in Canada should be honored and paid, because people give up part of their health for someone else, saving lives. Any donor, especially living, is a hero.

Thank you for your kind words! Throughout it all the one thing that kept me smiling was knowing a child was alive somewhere that wouldn't have been without the liver. I often think, and hope, that whoever it was is now living their best life.

The benefit to that suffering child an their future life is unfathomable, we simply cannot comprehend the impact of that donation... It was a tough decision to make and listening to you tell this story I can very much empathize with your moral dilemma. I feel that you've done the right thing.

I'm going through this process now for my mother. Waiting on a determination now. Thank you for making this series I think alot of us try to do the research but to see the process through and your complications from it is valuable. Your awesome for keeping your attitude and advocacy for living donation.

Good luck on the testing and future surgery! It is a rough and stressful process, and you are brave for doing it! I wish you and your mother a speedy recovery!

They dropped you while switching gurneys. Don't ask how I know, just trust me. They didn't report it. It literally snapped the nerve where your neck meets your shoulder.

That was initially my assumption. But I never found out what happened for sure. I wish I knew for sure, as it’s something that is in pain every day.
I am still blessed to have been able to donate. I’m happy for the child. Still it would have been nice to know.

      Hello again!
I know it’s a long shot but I have to ask, as some serious recent health issues I’m experiencing may directly relate to this incident. If you know something specific about what happened to me can you please let me know? My email is: Danial.mccoy@outlook.com or look me up on Facebook with the same name.
Any information would be of great help and would be completely confidential. Thank you!

Did you meet your organ recipient?

    • @MiscellaneousMcC
      @MiscellaneousMcC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Unfortunately I did not. I sent a letter to them through the transplant team, but did not receive a reply. It’s the team’s discretion to pass it on or not, so i am not sure if the recipients family ever even got the letter.

@@MiscellaneousMcC Well, I hope you will. I just found your channel and was watching all your transplant process videos because I have been considering being a live organ donor and wanted to know the process. So I want to thank you for showing us your journey and what it's like.

You are most welcome! It’s a big decision and the more information we can get before committing to it the better ! 😊
