      @@User-gp2te I've had the Orchestra lite for a couple of months now and it is certainly a great performer for the price. The only thing is that the bass is not as satisfying as a DD or planar bass, and they are unvented so you might need some getting used to the pressure seal created when wearing them.

    Last time i looked for IEMS they were intially only for in-ear monitoring during live performances and music recording sessions? What changed the game? Are these IEMS still eligible for actually being used for monitor listening with music tools or are most of these brand, moondrop, 7hz, kbear all made for exclusively gaming?? I got so confused when I started looking for a new pair of IEMS since my Shure SE535 just broke..

    I'd also would like to recommend the DCMKEA AO9 featuring 2 Dynamic Drivers one being a 10mm & the other being a 6mm with 2 options type c or 3.5mm, I find that it has great seperation details between the lows & highs claiming hi-res audio at $20-25 while claiming competitive pricing to other headphone companies. While being good sounding it has a ill cheap build quality being all plastic but fits fairly well in the ear as long if there isnt too much sweat building up in your ears. The bass performs well with rumble & pretty sharp attack to me in my opinion being a high performance Dual DD IEM. They also claim that it'll make you free with music so it should be compatible with various devices & works well at most volume settings. It sounds best at the mids

    Thanks for the video! It didn't show what I'm looking for, or maybe I have some wrong expectations. Maybe you or one of your viewers can help me.
    I want IEMs to wear while recording spoken-word content. In the past, headphones and earbuds with any kind of sound isolation / noise-canceling gave me headaches while talking (in addition to making it really difficult to hear my own voice unless I jack up the monitor volume, but then all other sound is way too loud).
    Right now, I wear a pair of wired Apple EarPods upside-down and in the opposite ears. That's extremely comfortable, relatively not visually distracting, and it doesn't give me headaches. BUT because the EarPods are TRRS, I have a lot of connection problems with my gear, even when I've tried using a TRRS-to-TRS adapter. So I want to upgrade to IEMs, but it seems they _all_ have sound isolation or noise-canceling of some sort, so I suspect they wouldn't work for me.
    Any recommendations?

    I've watched several of your videos and really enjoy your knowledgable but approachable style. I hope the move goes well.
    I only dabble in the budget side of IEMs but agree the Moondrop Chu 2s are a very nice choice although I struggled to find eartips that worked with them for my ears. I'm also loving the KZ Castor's bass edition. They are very enjoyable for me too!
    The last one I'll mention is the KBear KW1s. They aren't really on anyone's radar but they are constructed from wood and have a very bassy sound. But because l can't get a deep seal with them, it actually mitigates the bass somewhat and they end up sounding very nice to me. Go figure!

    What's a good upgrade path to OH10? I feel that the Soundpeats H2 sounds better overall than OH10 mainly the soundstage and instrument separation. Not even Salnotes Zero and KZ ZS10 Pro comes close to H2. It's hard to find good bass IEMs right now since most manufacturers go to Harman and neutral tuning right now.

    • @ProtikC
      @ProtikC 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alterenergetika Hello!! I bought a KZ Castor but I was equally disappointed, due to recessed mid-range cheap bass drivers. I would highly suggest to test some guitar tones on IEMs before buying. Also I was aiming for practicing not monitoring or mixing. So if you have not experienced it you might dislike some. My current verdict would be Wan'er over any sub 20 dollar IEMs since it is mid and vocal centric ( I am yet to have one though ). However before you make a bigger purchase always test it. The safest flat mid would probably be Salnotes 7hz Zero OG if you're ready to do some mixing stuff but I just needed something more enjoyable than the FRFR like drivers.
      Also I think headphones would be a better choice as I see there's really a lack of good advice on the internet about IEMs for Guitar.

      So far, my favourite is the “BGVP DM6”.

    Nice round up, never heard of most of those brands. The issue I would have with ALL of them is the stupid round ear tips! The holes in your ears are oval, but manufacturers still take the lazy route of not including oval tips. Had a tried a couple of 'off the shelf' IEMs and just can't get a seal, so useless. Custom moulds are the way to go, but eye watering expensive if you want a decent sound stage.
    Bose earphones, however have always fitted perfectly straight from the box, and comfortable enough to wear all day- and I have! Of course, Bose have gone down the purely Bluetooth route now, so out of the game if you want zero latency. Shame.
