Could hardly get out of the lift Smiffy! When it reaches ground level it opens up onto a big area, and it was packed solid with people. We had to walk at a snail’s pace whilst following the carnival parade. Thankfully the bank wasn’t busy, and once again I’ve been fortunate to be given a decent bag 😁

Can’t quite believe it myself 😳 4 years ago, when I started book #1, I was finding the low minted coins quite often (apart from the Beijing). But this run of luck for the latest book has been nothing short of incredible. 😊
Wow, 2 fantastic 🎇finds Beijing Handover and Roundel. I am still keeping my Darwins, Golden Guineas and 2015 and 2016 Britannias and Robert Burns. I got some more of my Technology 2 pounds rejects back yesterday. 😢 Going to dump them somewhere else. Trouble is my source does not order coins in and relies on customers handing them in. Did loads better on 50p yesterday than 2 pounds. I dont get that many Kitcheners even though it is meant to be common.
I’ve hit a purple patch, but I’m sure it won’t last long! 😁 Dunno where these Kitcheners are 🤷🏻♂️
Christ if Sunderland was ever to win the FA Cup again, I now have a good idea on your celebration, very loud indeed😂😂 But it’s always nice to find your own personal nemesis coin. Kitchener will be stumbled upon in good time, almost a weekly hunt these days, keep em coming
