UK coins are medal orientated, so when spun on the vertical axis the reverse should align with the obverse side (the Queen’s side), but in this instance it doesn’t, so it is a rotation error.

I’ve also got another one that was given to me in change by a coin stall guy at a car boot sale. He’s very kosher, and doesn’t rip folk off, and gets good trade because of it. He probably didn’t realise he had it! 😁 I did take the coin in the short with me to the RM in November 2022, and showed to a worker in the coin press room. He didn’t think it was fake, but I understand what you mean. 👍

I really like that Belfast design, not over complicated, but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. The designs on the new £5 coins are going to include what I said, but I also expect the designs to be the exact same as the old round £1 designs, if we are going on the past designs the RM used for the previous 2 years. A very good design which is easy to see, not cluttered, and uses the correct amount of coin space. Going to be a favourite of many I feel.

I got the info from an official UK Singles site, but the dates don't make sense. Wham have been at No.1 for 2 weeks this year, but the date has been showing as 19th December since week 1 (unless they've changed it since) - (I've looked and they haven't). Bad news on your Belfast coin 😡. I presume you mean the designs on the Annual set, and not what coins (as I mentioned those last week), but I hear the sets have gone up to £75 from £69, probably expected.

@@mackemmoolah yeah excited to see the actual look of the coins. According to the Big top 40 website ‘Freezing this Christmas’ was number 1 last week and down to the fact the BBC wouldn’t give it any airtime is why Wham took the Christmas Number 1

Really cheap stuff if it creates holes like that. I suspect it was done by whoever packed the coin into the covering in the first place, as the cardboard packaging it came in was quite strong. Have a great Christmas 2Cap 🎄🎁

If their packaging needs constant replacement then it defeats the purpose of using it and therefore should use the original packaging 🧐

@@sadmanislam5111 Our coin mint usually produces them every year. There were other pennies in that case that are either normal Proof or Brilliant Uncirculated. It was a mega bargain buy 😁
