I am a nursing instructor and teach both PSWs and LPNs. I was very moved by your story. Yes, I was tearful right along with you. It is a perfect video for my first class next week. I teach Patient Focused Care starting next week, and I am always looking for great videos that are thoughtful and clear in their messaging. This is also a Canadian video. I am very appreciative of the fact I can utilize a Canadian video, as there are few on this topic. The RNAO has an excellent document called 'Clinical Best Practice Guidelines, Person and Family Centred Care. (May 2015)For those of you looking for Canadian content, this is a great document to use as a foundation piece on which to build.
