@@Mk-eo3ss it can happen even after you’ve been diagnosed if you get a spike (or crash) while you’re asleep and don’t realize or wake up from it. it’s why having a monitor is so important i know some are even able to notify your people (that you choose obviously) if you have a spike or crash
8 months? I’m only 16 and I’ve had it for almost 10 years! I don’t know if you’re struggling, but I find words of encouragement help. so this is just a reminder that it’s going to get easier it’s not fun, but you can still have fun with it! It might slow down in some areas! It’s a bigger adjustment in life. But I promise you you’re gonna make it throw it! And life will get easier
It’s good she has came out with her story about diabetes. Even with what she was doing with the water and eating so much she said, and then ended up with this World high on her Sugar Count. I am so happy that this was posted, because it will teach people about Diabetes, even signs of a high sugar count. God Bless you. I am a woman, I am 70 years old and never knew what to look out for diabetes. I hope your story will educate a lot of people. I know it did me. Thank You❣️
When i got diagnosed last September I had the exact same symptoms my mum took me to hospital i was around 64 mmol/L which is around 1100 im not too sure how accurate i dont use that unit of measurement. I was no where near as active as she was i weighed 43kg at 18, I'm very greatful for the amount of care i received. I've adjusted to my new lifestyle, i realise it could have been much worse.
Well when I notice my daughter peeing a lot I took her to her doctor bc I never would of guessed it was type 1 most people that take their kid to doctor think it is a uti and that is why I took my daughter not for the other symptoms just for the peeing a lot and she had a couple of accidents at night which she has never had even when potty training and come to find out she was type 1 sugar was 628 plus she had gotten into fights which was not normal so the peeing a lot yes doctor but the other you wouldn’t think
My son was diagnosed when he was 13 yrs old (38 yrs old now). He was admitted to a children's hospital in South Texas for a week with blood sugars over 500. I blame the doctor for sending him home saying he was going through puberty. That's why he was losing wait and not eating.
Hi! A reminder that not everyone who develops Type II diabetes lives an unhealthy lifestyle. There are genetic components and many risk factors. No reason to build on the stigmas those individuals already face. ❤
I thought type 1 happens due to unusual circumstances like being born without a pancreas. I’ll have to check out the whole interview cause something else is going on here, she clearly wasn’t ODing on sugar.
1023?!?!? I was diagnosed at seven and my blood sugar was in a 700s wow it is so amazing you’re still here!!!
My daughter is T1D, dx at 8 yrs old...yep, her bg was 863! Shes 15 now, its such a journey for her...and all of you T1D warriors!
Gosh 1023?! My god😢…Diabetes is hard I hope you stay happy and healthy.
I didn’t know you could just go to bed and die from diabetes like I didn’t know it could kill you in your sleep

@@JO_98 my childhood best friend Autumn died this exact way. She was diabetic and had to check it all the time.
Im a T1D. I've had it for 8 months now. I was at 628 when i was diagnosed. ❤
@@tocabocacheck1370 Same!! Well, now it’s been a year lol! I feel like I’ve learned a lot but it’s still hard sometimes 💙🩵🤍💙🩵🤍

Rylee you are an inspiration and you and Stephen together are really inspiring. You two were the best on DWTS and deserved that win.
Rylee has inspired me a lot because I’m a 13 year old type 1 diabetic dancer who got diagnosed last year! Love you Rylee 💙💉🩸🫶🏻
I am also 13 with diabetes, but was diagnosed four years ago ❤

I was diagnosed in a similar way! I'm grateful for the technology with CGM, pumps, etc... Stay on top with it and never let it hold you back! ❤
I was 1263 when I went to children's hospital lol. They said my blood pH was acidic enough to be "incompatible with life"
woah 😮
Been there. I'm 68 now. Love my pump and GCM.
1,023!?!? Thats crazy...

I LOVE YOU RYLEE SO MUCH!!!! I've been cheering for yo soooo much!!! u r my insporation:)
I was in 6-700 range with type 2, I reversed it with the carnivore way of life, no meds ,lost weight, gained energy, no more depression.
That's great. You cannot reverse type 1.
1023!!! Yes she would have died that night! 500 is enough to put you in a glucose coma.
When I was diagnosed, I was on the 800s. I believe I was 893.
My blood sugar was in the 800s
Before I found out
And I did not have to go to the ER
Because they just found it
Thank god
I have type 2 & it's been six years since I have had it ...
It's about taking your meds and eating the correct foods and keeping levels to a medium
She has Type 1 not the same. But yes Type 2 diet & Exercise you can reverse it!
mind blowing. the excessive thirst and urination should have triggered someone to take her to emergency room.

Ilona and Alan have been such a joy to watch this season. Ilona has improved so much and they both have so much fun on and off the dancefloor 🎉
How many times did she say "like"?
Like, that’s your take away from her story? Like, that says a lot about your compassion. Like, so sad for you. Grow up.
For those in Canada that’s 56.8
Oh that’s pretty high
I was 500-400 when we found out I can’t imagine
Medical Medium protocols for diabetes for the win.
Me seeing this while drinking my juice because I haven't been diagnosed yet but I just had hypoglycemia:🤡🤡
Oh mannn, I've been hearing that more people have been getting diabetes diagnoses after covid :( Hope she is able to manage it well and keep dancing!
🙏🙏🙏
The type of diabetes that's ISN'T a choice
Hi! A reminder that not everyone who develops Type II diabetes lives an unhealthy lifestyle. There are genetic components and many risk factors. No reason to build on the stigmas those individuals already face. ❤
no one chooses diabetes.
me personally i am pre diabetic T2D... i am healthy (maybe 2KG overweight) i do sport... however half my family has T2D so genetics does not help :s
I'm the only diabetic (I'm T1) in my family history. No other T1 or T2. Go figure... 🤷♀️

Type I is an autoimmune disease.
