We often have towers where the grid for the underground parking structure, commercial podium and residential tower above are each a little different, we use scope boxes to control which grids appear on which levels. Very handy. Also using scope boxes for weird angled wings of a building is great too.
Hi, along some years your videos have been so helpful. Thank you very much for sharing and take time to explain with dedication bro! Greetings from Guatemala Here is my like! 👍 God bless you!
Hi Balkan!. Grate video. I heared that this scope boxes are used (in dynamo) to like a sectoring sistem to obtain schedulls of metric comput. Because al that is contanied into this box can be counted. Whith out depend of levels or grids to sectrorice the building. All what is into this scope box can be easy showed like a sector. For example i can do a scope box for each level of the tower and obtain some resume of floor matereals, walls, walls revest, doors, etc. Please correct me if i´m wrong. Sorry for my english ;)
thnx. what is useful te mention is dat you can also apply a scopebox to sections and elevations. and rename them to the desired name for example : Front, Back, Left and Right for elevations. or when you have a row of houses, you can apply a house number - or building number to them. 😉now the omly thing Autodesk has to do, is to add the Depth and With to the scopebox parameter. it's time. it's 2023.
thanks for that, I need to know can I use two scope boxes from same floor plan on different sheets, or must I duplicate view etc. I have an 17 level building which I thought scope boxes would work in this instance.🙂
Not the right software for this type of modelling. Programs like fusion 360, rhino 3D and Blender are better up to the types of form creation for vehicle design - can can generally also test aerodynamics with addins etc.
Always confused with scope box feature now got proper tutorial for this ..... thank you ....

As always, great tutorial!

Great video thank youuu
Thanks sir 🙌
In sheets, when splitting a huge floor plan, should I use scope boxes or duplicated dependent views?
Will the scope box work with diagonal grid lines that are only in the bottom part of the project?
how to adjust the grid and level extents from scope box
hvala
Looks like im getting mixed up in between scope box and section box.😅
Hello Balkan, how can I get (((That includes over 142 hours of video material!))) while I subscribe to all courses for a month?
Yes, if you subscribe for just one month, you will still get access to all courses!

Hi scumbag, can you make a tutorial about how to create car models using revit?
