I ran a 10k a day for 30 days in these and they were okay! Really comfortable. For someone who just wants to run at the park, they can actually do more than that.
I ran in shoes that ranged in the $10 to $40 range for the first 8 years I ran, some of the shoes weren't even dedicated running shoes, they were just trailrunning or gym sneakers. I loved running and ran for fun, not just competition or sport. Just a few months ago I got a pair of Altra running shoes, about $130 and they felt like a dream, and I felt like I could run forever. All this to say: go run! Shoes are rather arbitrary as long as they're athletic in style.
Yes they are good shoes if you are not sure about running and don't want to spend a lot of money on the big brands eg Nike's etc with which you only wear once. That is a waste of Hard earned money!!!!! I speaking as a newbie runner.:]
I worked for Decathlon for a while and had several people buy these shoes and proudly tell me they were going to run the marathon in them the following week. Of course they never forgot to mention they hadnt trained at all either. I wonder where these people are today..
That person is me, I ran a marathon in those shoes without having run a training kilometer, it took me 5 hours and I injured my foot, but in general they served me well, then I ran a half marathon in those shoes too, then I decided to get more seriously into running and I bought some adidas adios pro 3, the difference is abysmal but the kalenji do their job
Funnily enough, these were the 1st pair of shoes I took up running with out of lockdown. I think it's there overall weight which makes them ideal for initial training use. I have a neutral pronation so these never gave me any issues in my transition from grass)soft to road running. Have since upped to a pair of Mizumo Wave trainers and though better, the extra £70 difference ain't that great. Could happily run in these again.
After watching another review, I decided to give a try. I had Asics GT2000 with 400 km ride, so I bought them just to see how good in comparison these shoes can be. I was surprised. The cushioning and response is way better than latest Asics GT2000, they are very lightweight as well. Not much support but I am tiptoe runner so I don't need much support. I would recommend those for faster runners, who prefer to strike with forefoot, otherwise you will can start feeling lack of cushioning after few miles. They are durable as well. I've done 600 km and they feel almost like new. Never used for race but they felt good even at long distance running 30 km @ 4:58 min/km pace. P.S. Decathlon states that these are for beginners, but I would say otherwise - the cheaper the shoe, the more experienced you should be to wear it. They don''t have any arch support and are not as restrictive as other brands, your feet will have a lot of freedom and in case your feet is not strong enough and you still don't have proper technique, you can bet at higher risk of getting injury.
I actually started running in a pair of Kalenji running shoes just over a year ago and loved them. I originally bought two pairs, one of which I still wear to work and the others I ran in. They are very hard wearing and I still wear both pairs, albeit not for running now. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is starting running, doing something like C25K or for your first Parkrun as long as it's on a paved course.
I have just subscribed. I've just started running and it is so tough but rewarding. I did park run, finished almost last but was so so so proud of myself
You should be proud that you won the hard battle of getting up on a Saturday morning to run a 5K when many others wouldn't consider it. Congrats to that! 😄👍🏼
I got this exact pair at Decathlon in Nairobi. My current 5 K PB (19:26) was done in these. They cost about $28 and I feel like it’s good value for money. They have a more hardy design for trail runs for about $80... these are even better to run in... Decathlon opening in Nairobi is the best thing that happened to me🙂
Ye Duniya not the most ideal for daily running as they ware out quicker and you feel it more on the knees (less cushioning). I am now using Kalenji’s road running Kalensole. Circa $80 and really amazing shoes for daily running
@@parrotbrand2782 I was just thinking this. I always wore New Balance because they were comfortable and originally they weren't v expensive. Now they've become fashionable they're really expensive and they've redesigned them so they're not as comfortable for me. I've instead bought some in Decathlon that fit like my New Balance trainers from 15 years ago, v comfortable and under £35.
Bought a pair of Decathlon Kalenji Kiprun trail shoes as an emergency last minute replacement for a trail marathon and have been so impressed I'm off to Decathlon for their replacements. Prior to this I was Oasics all the way. Top end Decathlon running shoes are still 50 to 75% cheaper than mainstream brands. Awesome grip for the extreme trail events . Their running socks tend to leave a lot to be desired though.
I bought a pair of these to do a Tough Mudder, as if they got destroyed I wouldn't mind too much! They made it through admirably, and have now done two Tough Mudders - not bad for a tenner! What I didn't really like though is that I could feel every individual stone that I stepped on - I'm rather heavy-footed though, so these shoes probably aren't best suited. Still, as a last-ditch back-up to my regulars shoes, they aren't bad really.
I’d give these to my brother, his only excuse for not doing couch to 5k with me is he hasn’t got any trainers, and I think running would really help boost his mental well being
I’d give a pair to my friend Sarah who deserves the Runner’s high after getting me through tough times the past 5 years I’ve know her. We’ve grown up together from nerdy students at university to strong career women living our best lives in London, and now I want to be able to share running with her!
I would give them to people whom buy all the very expensive, latest, modern running gears because those look cool and fancy, then they give up running on the first colder/rainy day.
There are many cheap running shoes that are suburb , I'm 54 and have covered over 2000 miles in less than one year , currently running 60 to 70 miles a week ( I run every day ) . I must say the puma's I own have well over 300 miles on them and still going strong ( they are puma running system) . Before you spend a fortune on shoes because a self ordained shoe guru says you need them , try shoes on in the shop , they must fit well not to loose or tight and also have some suspension to them , take a marble or similar with you and try seeing if the shoe will soak up this underfoot anomaly up. Keep running everyone, we're a special breed 🏃♂️🏃♂️🤗
I am a 71 year old beginner & bought 3 different pairs to see which made my feet & knee hurt or not - each run has different shoes & the low foam added some pain to side of right foot, next run thick foam w/ little pain on left side of foot. Med foam a little pain but gone the next day. Run/walk 3 to 4 miles every 3 days as a hobby & for health reasons -

Sure you can run this in a half mary as 1 time thing, but doing it in constantly in training good luck with the recovery. -Signs of wear and tear started exhibiting at 500kms of usage. -BIGGEST PRO for me is probably that it has a wide toe box Overall it is a good shoe for beginners (or seasoned runners looking for beater-shoes) just pair it with a race day shoes. Its like the Nike Free series a good beaters as daily trainers but cheaper 😂
180g for the men size 8.5 is actually very light. These shoes have no outsoles so they wear out faster but if you run just a few km per week, it wont matter. I have a pair of Adidas Ultraboost which cost me £60 or so. The Continental branded rubber outsole is constantly peeling off. I rather have these. At least nothing will peel. If you run on roads ( not trails or grass) the sole is completely adequate. Unless u r in competition or chasing a personal best, these shoes are perfectly fine for recreational running. Occasionally i run in a pair of court shoes. These £10 shoes are way more comfortable. If you want more energy return, that bounce to propel you, get a pair of Decathlon ultra cheap walking shoes. Put in a good thick insole and you get a very good pair of running shoes with good energy return. I hope some Kenyan or Ethiopian runner would put a pair of these and win gold at the Olympics 😁
I have these shoes! I’ve been running 3 times a week for a total of 20-25km for the past two months. I have not had any issue with them. I really liked that they were so cheap and since they are serving me well, I have been able to use them while I commit to my new hobby :)
I tend to only use asics gel and then use the shoes until they fall apart. So the best stage of the shoes for me is when there is basically no cushioning left. So these shoes might actually work for me.
This is Decathlon so to compare their product you have to multiply the price 3x or 4x times to match other brands. And actually the best value could be found in their most expensive top products, it’s the same top performance you found in any other brands, but with 1/3 or 1/4 the price. Decathlon is a bless for all these sports. Marketing and hypes should not tax us.
Depends on the shoe. You're also paying for supplies, labor, R&D, transport, and all the other stuff that goes into it. Materials might be $10, but it takes a lot more than that to put the product in your hands.
I enjoyed this video; it helped make running more accessible to folks by highlighting a decent pair of inexpensive running shoes. It is important to put your best foot forward.
I'm wearing a pair right now. They seem okay. They've a useful bit of extra space at the front. I always take a 44, but in these I needed a 45. But they seem pretty groovy.
I know what you mean about a lack of "springback". I bought a pair of cheap Asics recently (Patriots) and they definitely don't push back when my feet hit the ground and to be honest my knees are feeling it a lot more after just a few wears. My normal shoes are the Asics Gel Pulse which is a price band further up. Also, loving the synchronisation when you're running! 🏃 ☀ ❤️
I got a pair of Asics Patriot too. They are way too firm, so I use them as casual shoes. Some Chinese brands like 361 and Anta should be considered. They can be very cheap in Asia and the quality is probably as good as Asics. I have a pair of Anta shoes for about $20 and they are responsive and as light as a feather, 160g for Euro 43 size.
oddly enough i started in a pair of nike free run that were already pretty packed down since I wore them for work every day, but i find my TOMS (like flats) the most comfortable for my morning indoor its odd but a $40 CAD pair of shoes with zero cushion and next to no .5 cm of sole have provided me the best platform to go on even vs my $120 CAD. Less shin pain and definitely more distance and better pace might just be in my head though
Decathlon running shoes are best for beginners, on tight budget and doesnt give a hoot if it doesnt look like a million dollars worth. Among my 20 pairs in cupboard right now, 14 pairs are bought from decathlon, 2 pairs from New Balance, 1 pair from adidas (Beckham ultraboost), 1 pair from puma (suede), 1 pair from Caterpillar and last pair from timberland. Decathlon store are still my fave place to visit for an affordable everyday use street wear.
I had these trainers when i started running, they were great for a couch to 5k. Think i'd like a pair for my hubby so he has less excuses not to try running 😊
My Dad is waiting for a hip operation. I’d hang them up in front of his bed so it’s the first thing he sees on waking! I’m determined to get him to his first parkrun- aged 76!
I currently wear and run in a pair of €15 shoes that I got at the supermarket, they were pretty good but now they have holes in the soles after only a month. I'm debating whether to get another pair of them or go for a more expensive pair that will probably last much longer
Have had a pair of shoes for several years now and have been surprised at how long they've lasted. Also made me realised I love a lightweight shoe. I've since graduated to Ultralight pair of the same brand for an awesome price, but still have these for playing around outside with the kids.
Good stuff team. I'd like a pair for my sister in-law. She knows she needs to do more exercise, is very interested in parkrun but hasn't committed to it. With a pair of running shoes I reckon it would get her to the start line!
Decathlon Kalenji Kiprun shoes coincidentally seems to be related to a famous running people from Kenya from the Kalenjin tribes and also coincidentally their names start with the words Kip for example Kipruto,Kiprono,Kipchumba,Kipchoge, and so forth. And now you have also named the Shoe Kiprun for a Kalenjin who Runs.
This explained a lot that I never really connected. I have a pair of Under Armour running shoes that said Run Long on the insole and I used them for the treadmill and a few 5ks...probably got close to 200 or 250 miles on them and they just had the foam on bottom...I watched them wear down and now they look like they just have nothing left to give on the bottom.
Decade ago, I once trekked and hiked Himalayas with these shoes. Many never heard of this brand. and were taking pics with those shoes. They are super comfortable. These shoes are for general purpose. I couldn't afford any other shoes at that time.
Had some bad experiences with cheap running shoes before. Got blisters (mind you I’m pretty precious) and after around a month/2 months of running and activity they sadly fell to pieces (the sole fell off on a 10k!). But if you’re not a numpty like me I reckon they’d be absolutely fine for once or twice a week.
I would give them to my friend who I already have tempted to give running a go to get a bit of her life back. She is insisting on her Converse. An upgrade is needed ;)
I’ve been wearing these from Decathlon too. At 110kgs I’m not a light runner and tbh (they’re 19 Euro here in Ireland) at the price, comfort and durability I’m finding it hard to spend ten times that on a high end pair of trainers again.. Btw, most of my runs are three weekly 5k-6k runs then Parkrun on the weekend with the occasional 10k charity event.. For me at the price I’d give them 9/10 and only dropping a point for the lack of a decent insole, which I replace on all my trainers anyway
i ran in cheap shoes. They were ok on the threadmill and a loose gravel track for 2.5 miles every few days. One day i spotted some brooks shoes at a discount store for cheap. I was amazed at their build. I was unfamiliar with real running shoes, and the kind of comfort they have. I'm now about a 20mile a week runner now instead of just under 3 miles every few days back then.
I would give them to my dad and get him to start Park Run which is just around the corner from him. I don’t think they would last long but I think enough to get you into Park Runs and you can then upgrade to something else. My Saucony Echelon 6 which I bought in 🇨🇦 are now coming up too nearly 500k and time to replace them.
recently bought a pair of these after watching one of your videos, just to test it out and ran 5km with it,honestly it's amazing for a running shoes to be this cheap and it's so lightweight ! !
The problem with running is that being good at it means maxing your VO2 max per kg, and that means not being fit in lots of interesting ways. I could do 5k in 16:19 at 83.5kg and 5 litres. It's easy. Stop lifting weights, drop 13.5kg, VO2 goes up into the mid seventies, and you're way faster. Yeah. And you'll age like a cut rose, and up like a turtle in your fifties with arms like twigs. I'm going to buy the shoes, though!
Bought these for daily walking which they’re perfect for. Wouldn’t want to do much more in them tbh. Maybe a 5k. I have a pair of ASICS for running thankfully.
I'd like to win a pair for my oldest son. He is definitely me when I was his age (12)with a heavy frame and stuck to the video games. The difference, however, is that yes, I was heavy, but I was also active. He is not. (Running channel merch would be for me...yay!) I most recently ran a half (at 250lbs), and this could be the catalyst to get him going and sharing moments in running with his dear ol' dad. Thanks!
Great review 👍 They seem brilliant for people just starting out and using running to get fit & healthy such as Couch to 5k. I'd give a pair to my 16yr old son who gets tired just thinking about running!
Saw the cheeky title then saw the thumbnail. Fuck they’re my trainers 😂 I use them for everything: running, boxing, cycling, gym sessions. I love them! I have got a new pair of dedicated running trainers but still absolutely love these ones!
I would give these shoes to my older sister so I can have a running partner and as well get her out the house more as she likes doing exercise but sometimes finds it hard for timing and being able to run together would motivate not just me to run more but her as well. 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️
How are they on wet surfaces? It's rainy season here now and i'm looking for another pair of shoes i can use to run in the rain. I don't want to get my new shoes wet and dirty.
I would give these to my mu who is 53 and promised me she will do a couch to 5k.... However getting shoes is the first step to this. She still has her gym shoes from the 90's which must have lost their spring over a decade ago! It would be great to eradicate one of the excuses :D
WOULD A FRIEND LIKE THESE SHOES TO START RUNNING? Tell us who and why in the comments below and they could win a pair! ↓ **This competition has now closed**
@@Codzilla71 Really ? Well i lived in England from 1998 till 2010 and i didn't see any in my area ( Birmingham ) whereas in France they are absolutely everywhere
trouble with these reviews is everyone always runs 1 or 2 runs in them gives a verdict ;some times the cheap shoes do ok ish but what we need to know is if we run many runs in them will they hurt us and perform over dozens of runs
The main problem with "cheap " trainers is the build quality ie after couple of weeks the seams start coming apart glue's used not being strong enough or supple but the biggest let down is the sole rubber how quickly the tread wears down cheap tread always wear's away for instance fake Nike's the sole tread wears down up to 10 to 15 times quicker than genuine Nike's so have to say that buying cheap really a waste of money better spending a little more on a known/ bigger brand as they're made to higher standard , you can easily find a pair that's adequate that not the newest release or high fashion style n as for competition I would give them to my 95yr Dad for walking in not expecting him to start running now lol Cheer's Mark
Thanks Anna & Kate. Interesting video. Pretty sure wearing these trainers would cause injury issues for me personally. I’d urge new runners to invest a little bit more in their first pair, but obviously don’t break the bank! I brought £22 NB trainers in the sale from Sports Direct as my first pair and worn these ‘nasties’ from my first ParkRun, all the way to my first marathon! Had so many niggles, which is no surprise. I’ve kept my first pair for sentimental value. Could never throw them away- we’ve been through a lot together. Keep up the good work. I always look forward to the new uploads. Ps. I would give these trainers to my mate, Ginger Al. He’s not a new runner as such, but has drifted away. These beauties would lure him back, I’m sure. 😆🤣😂
Thanks MrCol. Good points. I think these shoes have merit for a lot of people, but if you can spend more - without going mad - it's probably a good idea on reflection. Why is your mate called Ginger Al? :)
10 year ago kalenji made the best Parkour trainers you could buy and they were just £7 with a CD grip., i will go visit decathlon soon and see what I can get for walking, I am a long distance walker, running I do a lot of marathons and parkour see if I can still do parkour :)
Under armour surge 2 are the best all round trainers You can do it all in them marathons sprints and they are cheap and durable and light and comfortable I adore the surge 2 which are only 37 pounds
I still have my first pair of running trainers but now just use them as general sports shoes and not running. Nike running range must be about 7 + years old so got my money's worth (not as low as a tenner thou!)
Ran my first HM in 1985 in a pair of Brooks Chariots, they were the pup’s plums at the time, even better than my mate’s Pegasus 1’s! You can actually still buy them today, but not for running... for Shoreditch hipsters who want to look ironic! 😁 These days rock Hokas - couldn’t be more different!
Good job. There is so much emphasis on the next Polar etc which is fine but none of this makes any real difference to your performance for the huge majority.
I ran a 10k a day for 30 days in these and they were okay! Really comfortable. For someone who just wants to run at the park, they can actually do more than that.

I am sure many people can complete marathon in these, just that it won't be that fast

I tend to only use asics gel and then use the shoes until they fall apart. So the best stage of the shoes for me is when there is basically no cushioning left. So these shoes might actually work for me.
Let us know if you give them a go!
I intentionally use thin sole shoes when running.
I started running like that, and it built up the soles of my feet.
All shoes should only be 10 bucks. you pay 70 more just for a name
It’s a valid point!
"Brand"
Depends on the shoe. You're also paying for supplies, labor, R&D, transport, and all the other stuff that goes into it. Materials might be $10, but it takes a lot more than that to put the product in your hands.
This sounds like something my mum would say when I was a kid 😂
I just hope someone wears these and wins the London Marathon.
Me: buys a pair
Also me: pleasantly surprised pikachu face
😂
I'd like a pair of these for my mate Karl who's planning on invading area 51; I'm going to miss him
I enjoyed this video; it helped make running more accessible to folks by highlighting a decent pair of inexpensive running shoes. It is important to put your best foot forward.
I’d give a pair to my daughter who ran 100 metres then started crying of a stitch 🙄
😂
I'm wearing a pair right now. They seem okay. They've a useful bit of extra space at the front. I always take a 44, but in these I needed a 45. But they seem pretty groovy.
I know what you mean about a lack of "springback". I bought a pair of cheap Asics recently (Patriots) and they definitely don't push back when my feet hit the ground and to be honest my knees are feeling it a lot more after just a few wears. My normal shoes are the Asics Gel Pulse which is a price band further up. Also, loving the synchronisation when you're running! 🏃 ☀ ❤️
Yes, it’s funny how much you take your shoes for granted for things like that! Anna and Kate are running twins!
I only run Kalenji shoes, I think they are amazing value for money. Their KipRun series is pretty brilliant
I have ran a 15k in those and these are actually pretty damn good for their price
Good to know! Thanks for watching and commenting :-)
@@runningchannel i thank you for replying 🙂
oddly enough i started in a pair of nike free run that were already pretty packed down since I wore them for work every day, but i find my TOMS (like flats) the most comfortable for my morning indoor its odd but a $40 CAD pair of shoes with zero cushion and next to no .5 cm of sole have provided me the best platform to go on even vs my $120 CAD.
I used Asics Gels for my marathon in 2012 because I over pronate. Do Decathlon offer a stability shoe like those?
Have had a pair of shoes for several years now and have been surprised at how long they've lasted. Also made me realised I love a lightweight shoe. I've since graduated to Ultralight pair of the same brand for an awesome price, but still have these for playing around outside with the kids.
Good stuff team. I'd like a pair for my sister in-law. She knows she needs to do more exercise, is very interested in parkrun but hasn't committed to it. With a pair of running shoes I reckon it would get her to the start line!
Dog walkers... A runners nightmare.. well mine anyway :)
Unexpected path crossing + leads can be a hazard!
I’m a dog walker AND a runner, and wholeheartedly agree. 😂
Oh! Saucony Freedom ISO2 I'm wearing a pair at the moment.
It's a pity that they weren't reviewed by some who wasn't aware of the cheap price as well as the excellent review you both did together.
Converse? Noooooo
Converse? Noooooo
@@runningchannel I know!
I’ve been putting of starting running because I can’t afford shoes, so can I be greedy and say I need them for me?
Sure!
i ran in cheap shoes.
Decathlon products are are really very good ...
The shoes seemed pretty much good
I would give them to my dad and get him to start Park Run which is just around the corner from him.
I don’t think they would last long but I think enough to get you into Park Runs and you can then upgrade to something else. My Saucony Echelon 6 which I bought in 🇨🇦 are now coming up too nearly 500k and time to replace them.
Wow. That’s good going!
recently bought a pair of these after watching one of your videos, just to test it out and ran 5km with it,honestly it's amazing for a running shoes to be this cheap and it's so lightweight ! !
Glad you like them!
I’d give a pair to my sister who has just started running with me ☺️
I use these for fairly short runs, and as reserve shoes. For longer runs I have On Clouds.
Absolutely! We’ve got a video soon all about VO2 Max as it’s so important when it comes to running fitness 🙌
Bought these for daily walking which they’re perfect for. Wouldn’t want to do much more in them tbh. Maybe a 5k.
I have a pair of ASICS for running thankfully.
How is the toebox??
I need those that are rounded head for more room!!
Thanks!
Love this channel, you are down to earth, funny and professional and get the message across, great Channel.
Thanks Spencer ☺️
I am going to use these for the London and Boston Marathon and the Olympics
Best of luck 😂
Are they suitable for everyday running?
Yep they're road running shoes
Ok thanks
I had to ask you one thing, this shoe is good for regular running.
Please reply .
We used it for road running 😊
I have those shoes. Its verrmy affordable at the same time comfy and durable. Its a bang for your buck
Yeah. I have a pair of Mizuno that cost 80 and NB that cost 120. Both running shoes. The NB are waaaayyyy better.
Great review 👍 They seem brilliant for people just starting out and using running to get fit & healthy such as Couch to 5k. I'd give a pair to my 16yr old son who gets tired just thinking about running!
Thanks Laura!
Saw the cheeky title then saw the thumbnail. Fuck they’re my trainers 😂 I use them for everything: running, boxing, cycling, gym sessions.
I love them! I have got a new pair of dedicated running trainers but still absolutely love these ones!
They’re a solid pair of trainers 🤷🏻♀️
I would give these shoes to my older sister so I can have a running partner and as well get her out the house more as she likes doing exercise but sometimes finds it hard for timing and being able to run together would motivate not just me to run more but her as well. 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️
I've been using a little pricier version for a while and I've actually bought their trail shoes Evadict TR2 this summer.
I would not take these but i have owned Kiprun KD500 which are also on the cheaper side and are great for hundreds of kilometers.
How are they on wet surfaces? It's rainy season here now and i'm looking for another pair of shoes i can use to run in the rain. I don't want to get my new shoes wet and dirty.
My energy left me 20 years ago and never returned. These shoes look like shoes I'd wear for going to the pub in. Look like they stagger well.
Try them out for yourself!
I would give these to my mu who is 53 and promised me she will do a couch to 5k.... However getting shoes is the first step to this. She still has her gym shoes from the 90's which must have lost their spring over a decade ago! It would be great to eradicate one of the excuses :D
** Mum
Had a pair for about 10 months with moderate usage mainly for shorter runs but did 10 miles in them today. Not my 'quickest' pair but they're decent.
That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing :-)
WOULD A FRIEND LIKE THESE SHOES TO START RUNNING? Tell us who and why in the comments below and they could win a pair! ↓
**This competition has now closed**
Absolute fun using these , brought 3 pairs straight
Is Decathlon finally in the UK ? Wasn't there back in the days when i lived in England
Yep! Quite a few now.
@@Codzilla71 Really ? Well i lived in England from 1998 till 2010 and i didn't see any in my area ( Birmingham ) whereas in France they are absolutely everywhere
@@Codzilla71 Ok thanks for the info !
I've always run in £30 trainers. My Mrs brought me £120 Adidas which broke within 2 months. Pretty disappointed.
Randy Marsh They must’ve been made of glass if they broke 😂
trouble with these reviews is everyone always runs 1 or 2 runs in them gives a verdict ;some times the cheap shoes do ok ish but what we need to know is if we run many runs in them will they hurt us and perform over dozens of runs
Are they suitable for flat foot liked myself?
I would give them to my daughter Emma to heip get her into running and convince her to do the Glasgow 10k in September
I have these for more than 5 years now, and the sole is still very good condition
C25k shoes! Just start to run and if you like running but a fresh pair of sames or upgrade ;)
What about wear and tear?
Do people who can afford expensive shoes not get injured?
Can u suggest better for jogging around in this price ?
10 year ago kalenji made the best Parkour trainers you could buy and they were just £7 with a CD grip., i will go visit decathlon soon and see what I can get for walking, I am a long distance walker, running I do a lot of marathons and parkour see if I can still do parkour :)
I am confused between kalenji 100 run and skechers go run fast quake please help i am a beginner.
How do you know if you bought the correct running shoe
Under armour surge 2 are the best all round trainers
You can do it all in them marathons sprints and they are cheap and durable and light and comfortable I adore the surge 2 which are only 37 pounds
Thanks for the tip!
@@runningchannel your welcome and I wish I could send you a photo I have 5 pairs of surge 2
Ok I have question to ask plz
If I buy two shoes of this brand is it long lasting for run !?
I still have my first pair of running trainers but now just use them as general sports shoes and not running. Nike running range must be about 7 + years old so got my money's worth (not as low as a tenner thou!)
Ran my first HM in 1985 in a pair of Brooks Chariots, they were the pup’s plums at the time, even better than my mate’s Pegasus 1’s! You can actually still buy them today, but not for running... for Shoreditch hipsters who want to look ironic! 😁 These days rock Hokas - couldn’t be more different!
We wish we’d kept our old trainers. We’d be cool now :)
The Running Channel 🤣
Good job. There is so much emphasis on the next Polar etc which is fine but none of this makes any real difference to your performance for the huge majority.
True watches won't improve your performance but are a great way to track progress!
My wife who stopped running whilst pregnant with my now 4 year old son. A new pair might be the nudge that gets her out again.
How rigid is the heel counter?
using last 2yrs ,value for money
Amazing value for money!
Decalthon makes life easy.
These are literally my shoes, full of holes but hey im a student lol
I use this Shoes since 4 years now. i run a marathon with them and i got the luck the just suits me :D
Bought them to run on my treadmill, work great!
👍
