How do you deal with surprise tickets and tolls?
@@colombiantom Vegas we don’t have tolls. But you show a copy of the rental car agreement or Turo. To the police and they will For the ticket to the right person but you have to stay on him because they will forget or I will just get lazy

For the people that didn't go to college, this is what you call market research. ALWAYS have an exit strategy and if possible download a template on your breakeven point. Also if you get an auto loan and have good credit, my advice is get two cars if you can afford it. It won't hit your credit report for I believe 30-45 days. I learned a valuable lesson starting out with I got a low rate auto loan. It goes against your DTI and that is very important. Start building that BUSINESS CREDIT. SEPARATE IT FROM YOUR PERSONAL. Good stuff Lucky
Just started hosting on Turo in Colorado Springs and it’s going well so far, I’m adding another vehicle to my fleet this week and I’m confident I covered all these points when making the decision on which cars to go with. I’m excited to see where this takes me!

Automotive Life it started off really well but the second vehicle I just added got rear ended in a hit and run today, going through the claims earlier than I hoped for but the Mercedes 4matics I have on there are rented pretty frequently. Just a small road bump.

Great content, I like how you show people to keep their head on a swivel on there business. If you're stuck on one part keep moving and find something else and have an Exit strategy. And also to know your market and not rent convertibles in Minnesota year round.

I just started 2 months ago and June was slow, then it blew up and I'm booked on a 2020 camaro from now till September, everything u said is true, I live in Miami and tourism is high, seasonal surges in the business means I'll save for rainy days and Florida has many of those, good info

This video was so helpful. I live in south ga in a country town and was thinking about renting a Mercedes CLA. After this video I’ve realized I need to think about my area! That really resonated with me. The cars that sale the most and the quickest as soon as they’re on the car lot here in my city are chargers, mustangs, malibus (Idk why lol) and challengers. I shouldn’t be considering a Mercedes because that doesn’t benefit my area! So true! 🤯🤯 It’s mostly hot here until about late December/January- March (we literally still be wearing shorts on Christmas 🤣) so I think a convertible Mustang and a Dodge Charger would be my best bet. There’s literally no car lot here with a convertible car so I think I’d make a killing renting out one. Thanks! New subbie and this is my first vid of yours ✍🏽💎

Most people I know do not figure depreciation at all, yet depreciation dominates insurance cost, and repair cost, especially when the car is new. An actual budget of realistic expenses including depreciation rapidly deflates any notions of a bunch of new cars making money on Turo.
