Some fun facts about this film:
    1. Pacha’s wife (sadly I can’t remember her name) she is the first pregnant lady in any Disney film.
    2. 35:17 When Yzma asks “is that my voice” that was the actual actress asking the voice director if that was her voice through the sound filter. And after the voice director answered her “yes” she continued the scene. The director thought it was so funny they kept in the film.

There is one thing I want you to steer clear off: "The Emperor's New School", it deviates from the first movie completely. @@Sarah-nz8zr Well, on the minus side there is no coherent ovarall story, no stakes, so you're obviously less invested. It makes for some funny moments in the last scenes though.
On the plus sides, even if they are not really connected and the stakes are very low, I found each small story funny enough to keep me entertained. Though not nearly as funny as kuzko's movie, which is just comedy gold. Kronk is still a pretty enjoyable character, and he never acts in contradiction to what we know of him from the first movie.
Overall, a weaker movie obviously, with small but funny stories, compared to a strong, hilarious buddy movie/vilain redemption arc that was the chore of the 1st movie.

There was some production issues behind the scenes where this was going to be a musical, but most of the songs, written by Sting an was going to be performed by the actors, but were scrapped during production.
This led to a lawsuit by the songwriters and the documentary The Sweatbox showing the problems behind the scenes with the animators and directors, with some of them quitting or getting fired. The Sweatbox was dismissed in court.

Kronk is a fellow student and Yzma is the principal, alias Amzy. Kuzco can't stay in the palace, so Pacha's family takes him in. Kuzco even has a Love Interest. Shenanigans ensue. It was on while I was in high school, so between 2009-2013. . . And I've just made myself feel old.

I feel bad for the people who saw this movie in English, cause in latin spanish the dub is INCREDIBLE. They made jokes that only if you speak spanish or born in Latin america you will understand. Still this movie is AMAZING.

Hey, I feel I have to let you know that there's in fact a secuel about Kronk! It's called "Kronk's New Groove". I don't really remember what that movie is about or if it's good, as I watched it when I was little.
Love the video, as always. And sorry for any grammatical or spelling mistake I may have done, my best wishes, from Argentina n.n

I adore this film. Every time I watch it, it makes me laugh so much. And I am just terrible at trying to explain it to anyone who hasn’t seen it because I’ll just start laughing part way through as I remember the jokes in my head even though I am trying not to tell whomever I’m talking to. And the more they ask “What’s so funny?! Will you please finish describing the film?” It just makes me laugh more and I usually end up telling them they’re just going to have to watch it. My absolutely favorite joke in any film ever is in this film. I love when Pacha and Kuzco ask Yzma how they got to the palace before them (the very thing the audience is clearly also wondering) and Yzma turns to Kronk and asks him. Kronk pulls down the map and the audience is anticipating an explanation but instead Kronk just replies he doesn’t know and states that it doesn’t make any sense. I laugh so hard every time at that! I don’t know if it’s really that funny or if it’s because I have written several short stories and had moments agonizing over how to explain something because my writer friends and my teachers in university all told me you have to explain that stuff and here the writers, through Kronk, are basically going “Nope. Screw audience expectations! This is where we are in the story now. Get over it!” And the fact that Yzma just shrugs and the story just moves on. It’s just hilarious to me! (And it works that Yzma shrugs it off because this fits her character. We literally have her saying “Well he ain’t getting any deader” and moves on). Kronk is definitely my favorite character in this film. And I enjoyed the sequel which focuses on him. The Disney tv series was okay. Honestly Kronk is the best part of it, too. I remember watching The Emperor’s New School (the tv series) with my niece and mostly enjoying the jokes and Kronk being Kronk. Yzma as a high school principal is actually funny. She’s definitely no Mr. Belding. But thankfully for her Kuzco is no Zack Morris either! LOL
Great reactions! Thanks for making and sharing this video!!

At the time Disney basically disowned the movie. The had so little faith in it they explicitly stated that it did not count as one of Disney's full length feature animated movies (they were numbering them at the time). Then the movie they were really pushing didn't do that well, and everyone loved TENG. Suddenly they loved it too, and added it back to the big list.

David Spade as Kuzco is hilarious enough. Add John Goodman as Pacha, Patrick Warburton as Krunk and Eartha Kitt, as Ezma, and the only way this movie could have been more hilarious is if Chris Farley had still been alive. I actually have a vision of him in my mind being a hilarious sidekick to Kuzco, like Mushu in Mulan.

For me who grew up with this movie and all the old Disney (I miss the white castle on blue background) I was very sad there's no one as funny as this one.
When my little sister saw it for the first time, the first thing she mentionned was the lever scene. Also, because I'm french, I grew up with Yzma shouting " Not this oooone !!!! " during her fall 🤭
I don't know if you noticed it but the cactus next to Yzma turned into a lama too and when Kronk talk about the bird in the jungle, the bees who chased Yzma took a shark form

Um they do have a krone movie. It's not really a sequel I think but I do know there's one about him and also. There's is a series animated of kuzco attending like high school lol. Btw I was born in 2001 so I watched this movie when I was little like maybe 7 or 8 is when I remember the most waking the movie at that age so.
The movie came out in 2000 so and the voice actor for kuzco is no other than
    David Spade.
Also the voice character for kronk did other voices for other disney characters and I believe non disney characters.

Esma, Ezma... 🤔. Well, she's my favorite. She is so evil but still has time to stop and decide to be catered to 🤣. Telling Kronk to make foods and desserts a certain way, then knowing she can gut-check him says she didn't like it. The rotten empress🙂.
Hmm.. reaction recommendation Fern Gully the last rain forest I think is the full title. Or The original Brave Little Toaster not the second or third. You'll hate movies they're that awful.
