    This is the #1 Legal Firm regarding the Veterans rights and benefits!
    They are arguably the most influential and informative firm.

    Just got off the phone with a very nice lady at the VA. And she states the following..if your service connected "static"rating or ratings equal 100% then you are permanent and Total. All of your ratings Do Not have to be Static for P&T. You can have 10 rated disabilities in which 6 are "static" and 4 are not but the 6 equals 100% and therefore P&T. It is a MYTH that all your connected disabilities have to be "static" for P&T status. Hope this helps fellow Vets

    • @JustAnotherJarhead
      @JustAnotherJarhead ปีที่แล้ว +4

      technically you only need static conditions to equal 95%. Nobody ever said that ALL of your ratings had to be static.

      @@JustAnotherJarhead Roger that. But yeah other people "TH-camrs" are telling Vets that they have to be all static for P&T status. And i'm getting the info out there on many channels to make veterans aware. All about helping each other

    Can you explaine accrued benefits of the veteran?.

    • @gillyoh63
      @gillyoh63 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that's when you have a existing claim and he or she dies while waiting for the results of the claim.the months of waiting in which the claim was being decided are calculated up to the point in which the approved decision is made.all those months of payments will be made to you .

    served 1984-2004 only have 40% disability: 10% for each thing listed
    Age over 60
    Want to increase benefits because I only receive $800 but I don't know how to file for an increase if I can
    When I retired they sent me to a clinic for a check-up and that was it
    So I guess my 40% won't pay on to my spouse

      a 20 year retiree really wants a 50% VA rating, so that you can have concurrent receipt, and keep both your Pension and your VA comp money. Get going on some claims!
      you have been missing out for nearly 20 years.

      Better get with an organization who knows what the he!! they’re doing. It took me a min to get to 100. But I was doing individual claims at a time. Got to 80, sat there for a lil while. Then rcv’d some excellent help from a cpl various organizations. I went from 80 to 100 in less than 1.5 yrs

    My Dad passed away in 2021 was a 100% disable Vietnam Vet and i feel his benefits could still been passed on to his minor grandchildren be nice if they had a congress law that approved a VA benefit that can be passed on to the the grandchildren too..but you guys failed to mention how old the surviving unmarried dependent have to be to receive the surviving pension

      VA disability benefits are for the Veteran, NOT YOU so u can continue on with life at the expense of the federal government.

      If he had Adopted his grandkids they would've been his dependents. Otherwise, No.

    How long do you have to be married for the spouse to qualify for these benefits?

      Hello!
      According to VA, the surviving spouse of a veteran is eligible to receive DIC if they:
      - Were married to a service member who died while on active duty, active duty for training, or inactive duty training; or
      - Were legally married to the veteran before January 1, 1957; *or*
      Married the veteran within 15 years of military discharge when the service-connected condition that caused the veteran’s death began or was aggravated; *or*
      Were married to the veteran for at least one year immediately preceding the veteran’s death; *or*
      Had a child or children with the veteran, *and*
      continuously cohabited (lived with) the veteran until their time of passing *and* were not separated from the veteran or, if separated, were not responsible for the separation are not currently remarried
