- This scent is New and just released today. This has a very fresh and outdoorsy scent. An homage to the Crabtree & Evelyn For Men Fragrance Line. I don’t remember ever trying the original man’s fragrance Also using the super cool Artifact Razor with the much requested Willy’s Blade and SOC Brush.

Crabapple & Newton is an homage to The Crabtree & Evelyn For Men Fragrance Line, which was first introduced in 1984 and ran for a number of years, into at least the 1990's. It's unclear to me exactly when it was discontinued as the brand has changed hands several times since 1996, and along with those changes, there were adjustments to the product line as well. I have always appreciated the creative imagery and fragrances this brand crafted back in the 80's and 90's. They were offering something different, and something truly unique!
The For Men fragrance is its own homage to the ancient Spice Routes, and captures the essence of these legendary paths of commerce and cultural exchange with its balanced blend of warm spice and floral notes. The addition of sandalwood and patchouli in the base creates a warm, woody undertone, adding richness and depth. It's an exotic and intriguing fragrance, with a touch of mystery, moodiness, and adventure woven into its composition.

Top notes: Citrus, Pine, Eucalyptus
Middle notes: Spice, Ginger, Floral
Bottom notes: Wood, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Patchouli

Great shave Ken. I ordered Crabapple & Newton today and looking forward to getting it. I was looking at the PAA site for the Artifact and the picture shows that the razor comes in the case enclosed in a cardboard sleeve. Hope your son gets better. Stay safe and have a great weekend. 👍
