But the right doesn't care about truth or facts. How many times do we need to see this before it sinks in?
They only care about their mutual hate and power.
There was some fact-checking, but there could definitely be a lot more. I think the moderator is moderating the amount of corrections so that people don't become afraid to talk, but people who spout lies need to be corrected.
She only fact checks one side of the aisle....... but they were all spewing bs. As a moderator you should be in the middle. She is obviously trying to sway people to biden. It's like watching cnn or msnbc.
They don't like him, yet make excuses for everything he says or does.
I don't like various things about Biden policies. But given the alternative, I support him, including his age issues, even though I wish BOTH parties had chosen younger, more dynamic, more credible candidates overall. (And yes, I know that BOTH candidates have a significant age issue. The Trumpers who act like only Biden has an age issue or memory issues etc, are COMPLETELY noncredible with such assertions.
No candidate is perfect. To me, implying that if one doesn't support a candidate 100% (or a platform) is a bad thing, is ridiculous.
I'm all for calling Trump for his bad policies, lies, bad behavior, etc. But not just for bashing him all the time, just like the Trumpers bash Biden all the time, including using LOTS of lies, cherry picking, distortion, etc.
These folks are absurd… they believe that this guy is accountable to no one. They are obviously Trump fans and they should join his fan club… we don’t need him as a president. All they seem to care about is being entertained, they conveniently take nothing he says seriously and believe that no one else should either. I don’t understand how we’ve fallen so far… this man is clearly unfit to be the POTUS. Biden is too old, but Trump is sick in the head and extremely corrupt & hateful.

I've watched this several times and I really feel sorry for some of these people, how uninformed and brainwashed they are. And it's these people that have led our country into a bad place.
It's a shame that a nitwit's vote is as valuable as an informed citizen's vote. But that's democracy. And it's why informed people need to get engaged and involved in helping their candidates get elected.

The primary point of my earlier post is CHOICE! That choice needs to be made by the woman and her doctor who knows her, knows her risks and knows her situation beyond the pregnancy in question. This is NOT a decision to be dictated by government. It's a medical decision.

He said in the same statement he wasn't talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be "condemned totally." The proof is in the reading.

Margaret Brennan is fact-checking many of the points, like the Southern Border issue. She said it's a fact that everyone in DHS custody is vetted. Naturally, anyone who sneaks into our country and isn't caught by the Border Patrol doesn't get vetted. That is common sense! Besides, everyone besides the Indigenous Native Americans are immigrants or the product of immigrants. Donald Trump's Grandfather came to America from Bavaria because He avoided their Draft during World War One. Bavaria stripped him of his Bavarian Citizenship so, He entered America because he was a man with NO Citizenship of any Country. I could go on and on about how much of a crook he was but, just go to Wikipedia and find Fredrick Trump. (1800s)

uh no, anyone that has the ability, can research topics being discussed. if that's how you feel about CBS and M.B., why do you not have the same standards for Trump and everyone else on the conservative side? (as an example) so if you say a color patch that someone has on their pants is black, we are to believe you even though we can look at the pants, if we so choose to, and see that it is red, you want people to be like you and take someone's word that the color is black. that's called mental manipulation or brainwashing.
By some counts, 30 former Trump aides and advisors say Orange Jesus is unfit for office. They know him better than you or I. That should be enough to convince anyone.

The truth is, the news channel a person watches, determines the world in which we live. We are a country with 2 different realities.

Nobody’s making anybody buy an EV they’re putting the infrastructure in for people that want to buy it so that it’s better for economy. We can’t continue to use fossil fuels yet. Biden made so much money when he used our oil reserves and then bought it back at a cheaper price. He sold it at a high price, then bought it back at a low price to refill our reserves as the prices came down. my daughter has two Teslas. My brother has a EV Mustang. I know lots of people that want electrical cars and they’re buying them. My nephew has Rivian. So don’t say nobody wants electric cars. Lots of people do .
Right, and people still have a choice if they want to continue buying and using a petrol engine vehicle. People have much more choices now. Toyota and others are gearing up to add hydrogen vehicles to the mix, which will be most beneficial to the trucking industry. Additional avenues just means more jobs, more opportunities for America.
My next car will definitely be an EV. I think they are great!

Excellent discussion! One participant took up more than his share of time, however (quite a bit more). I would have liked to have heard more of what the others had to say. You could see the ongoing frustration on their faces every time the same guy hogged the mic. But this helped me in understanding some of the things that the "other side" sees, thinks, and believes.

I'd recommend limiting the total time per panelist by evenly dividing the time. The panelist could use where they wanted but whenever given the floor, their time would decrease and they could see the timer. Keeps one or two panelists from hogging the mic.
It tends to be that the wiser people often speak less, as they are listening to new potential information and opinions. She's probably 20 IQ points higher than the ones who spoke twice as much as her.
The black lady was much too passive. She let the Trump voters dominate with their political dogma. The other two Biden voters were also much too passive. None of them were skilled in defending Biden.

I did not see a BLM riot result in a congressional proceeding be halted. Like protesting is very different from stopping an official proceeding. Like if you know a state congress that failed to meet because BLM riots during daylight hours and during business broke in and attacked police officers to stop them from enacting a law, let me know. There’s a clear and obvious difference between protesting and at night it becoming violent and a violent protest meant to stop the government from enacting the law at all. Stop acting like there’s not a spectrum and everything is a one-for-one kind of moral or actual comparison, like giving documents back when being asked is a the same as being asked to give them, refusing and hiding them, and then having to issue a search warrant to find some, not all. Ideally, but it's not really feasible for people who work and have families. That's why we also need a federal holiday for election day. Nobody should feel deterred from voting because they can't find the time to actually vote (or in some cases, get the various ids needed to be able to vote). Plus, this election is the same two candiates as last time, so anyone who paid attention to 2020 should know their main stances and policies, which neither have noticeably have changed.
