Ran Into a BIG RATTLESNAKE While Hiking in Montana! Watch til the end to see the Snake!

While walking in the foothills of the Montana mountains, we ran into a very large rattlesnake. It showed up suddenly in the sagebrush right in front of our path! Fortunately, with all the snakes we’ve seen we have not had any issues. The dogs were far enough back and didn’t get near it and Heather leashed them up quick. Then we decided it was time to call it a day. All of this mostly because we started at low level elevation in more heat than usual. Why? That’s another story, coming soon...

I usually camp in cooler areas so never crossed paths with one. After seeing your footage I think I’ll stick to my MO when I get out again. Glad you’re all okay.
