Love the foot adventure after landing! Just getting back is an adventure in its self! From hitch hike, trains,, buses or just trying to get one of your friends to come pick you up. Might just be me but I like the extras! Greg you are awesome, keep them adventures coming!

I really appreciate your videos where it's more of a stream of consciousness while you're flying. As a low air time pilot whose creeping into XC, it is really valuable to be "inside your head" and be a part of your decision-making process. I can read all the books, but that isn't the same as being along for the ride when you're actually making these decisions. So thank you, and please keep them coming! Question: When you're gliding downwind, are you on bar? Does it depend on whether you're going for distance versus trying to stay high?

Brilliant Greg!! You show how important it is just to be patient, and just return to the hill to wait for that second/third/fourth thermal to take you high. I really liked the honest story of the out landing (something which has caught me out in the past) and the DIY retrieve! All part of the game!

I love you man. I just dropped 5,400 for a used wing all the stuff I need to start in the cross country endeavor because I live in the devils bowel for weird twisting winds around goofy ridges and hills. I'm 63 years old and I know everything I'm an engineer except no one ever graduated me and I'm too poor to buy anymore stuff. I'm sitting here laughing because I'm starting out on the epsilon 9:30. I'm taking classes and I'm buying the glider from the instructor who got me a deal on it used. Going from your comments and the various videos I have seen you produce, this seems to be the foker tri-plane of paragliders in this class. Quick turning light touch you mentioned one guy would pass you. Did he have a better glider for conditions? I'm taking all my training flights on this wing. I'm right at the top of the recommended weight just a 5-10 kg short maybe. I'm going to be paid in full and wait until it cools off a little bit August or September. I get Tow line launches. Thanks for all the wonderful tapes and I will be very cautious stepping in too quickly with this new wing not quite a beginner Wing. I wanted to learn how to fly one way one wing with the tabs on. I'm going for it I can take it. I got a thousand square kilometers of farmland here. I have about 10,000 people who have all laughed at me for some reason or another. Now I'm going to rule the skies. There's no one else here. Thanks again for producing this channel so that I can study and learn from you

@@iloverugby4ever hi. I had the alpha 6 for around 2 years, and now I have the iota 2. The main difference is it has more speed. The speedbar on alpha 6 is a bit useless, its not on iota 2.
And the iota is a little bit more agile.
You should try the 2 wings ( epsilon and iota) before you buy.

I would like to make a suggestion for every pilot starting with you and every fan of paragliders starting with anybody you want. Why not try to get a telephone list of people who are willing to give you a ride home? If by some strange twist of fate you had flown in and landed here I'd went over and talk to you and most likely I'd have driven you home. If you called me in to ask me or anybody there was flying a paraglider ask me I would be giving them a ride anywhere they wanted to go as long as they would answer all my questions.

Hi Greg, I have a small random question for you or for anyone who wants to answer. Why the lower attachment point of the risers(the part of the risers where you hook in with the carabiners) on some wings are wide(like in the Epsilon 9 in this video) or thin(like in a iota2)? One reason is maybe to save some weight for the construction, but apart from that, I don't understand why they are one way(wide) or the other(thin)? Cheers and you do a fantastic!!!! job with your videos!!!!

Hu mr fly bubbles. Question for ya. My first glider was the epsilon 6. I bought it used with the harness for only 800$, it was an amazing deal. I learned on this wing and it was truly a dream to fly. I sold it months ago and am in the market for a new glider. I am looking at th gin atlas 2. I have flown the gin bolero 6, the epsilon 6, an easy “A” apco (terrible glider) ... you have a review of both the epsilon 9 and the atlas 2, i would love your input
My joys are ridgesoaring all day every day... no desires for acro, purely ridgsoaring with a possibility of xc. Im a leisure pilot. Easy going!
Thanks for doing what you do

What size did you fly with what wheight? I have the chance to get an Epsilon 9 28 in very good shape for very little money - it's recommended weight range is 92 to 114kg, my take off weight is 101kg; I am a little bit worried about being right in the middle with this wing. Do you have any suggestions about this? Thank you so much!
