Just heard you were a Royal Ranger, 1984 we won best camp in Ohio! Love the videos because I love adventure. You document that so we’ll, the river, the camps, the quite places. Keep ‘em coming.
I'm very much appreciated all the river data you're sharing! Vehicle spotters, places for put in/take out, restaurants, and most importantly views from the river!
Awesome video Pete! Looks like a beautiful river. And thanks for taking the time to chat with me this morning!!! Made my birthday to hear from one of my kayaking heros! Thanks for all your contributions to the paddling community. Your videos have been a huge help in my paddling journey 🙏 Hope I get the chance to paddle with you someday. SYOTRS 🔥🤙🌊
Almost 1K views and only 79 Likes. C'mon folks, we can do better! This is by far the best channel to watch videos about kayaking, if you're not into extreme sports and like nature.
What a great River trip! I'm gonna have to check out that Shepard's Pie recipe. I got a great Thanksgiving Dinner that I love making, and eating in the backcountry. Can't beat those homemade meals, so satisfying in more ways than one. Cant wait for the rest of the series.
@@RiverKingsKayak 2nd night around clover lick had one fly right in to camp about daybreak and carry on for 20 minutes, Everyone else hated it I loved every 2nd of it
Were any of these campsites designated sites from the GreenbrierRiver trail? Its a trail thats supposed to follow the river Good looking video for day 3!
Hey Pete, loving the info, tips and trips your provide on here. I’ve got a question for you regarding your camera charging gear on this trip. What are you using and how do you guarantee you have enough juice for a trip like this?
I am running two GoPros, Austin has the same as well as a drone and a big camera. I use a Voltaic Solutions solar charging system...here is a link to a review I did on it... th-cam.com/video/dDwy8FxD7v8/w-d-xo.html
Hey Pete! Is that the Performance Tour paddle from rpc3 you're using or the Adventure Tour? How do you like it? I'm in the market for a new lightweight touring paddle.
Hey JBD! I actually have both. I use almost entirely the performance tour. The adventure tour comes along as the backup paddle on every trip. I just prefer the more whitewater style blade design. They are both great.

I love watching those ducks, not sure what they are, on the river. You can learn a lot watching them go through rapids, their naturals!
The rust colored headed ones are mergansers. They are fun to watch!
LIVER KINGS!
LOL
Thankful for your work Pete, another great set of videos. Inspired me to stop renting for trips and just get a kayak of my own!
Right on MD! That is the way to go! Thanks a ton!
Keep up the good work
Thanks JW!

I am not aware of any designated sites. There may be some, but we generally prefer undeveloped backcountry camping anyway. Thanks a ton Wes!
Just missed the rodos blooming!
...and we almost missed the water! It was coming down fast! We were talking about how nice it probably looks in the fall!
I appreciate the correct pronunciation of Appalachian. When I went to ASU I would have people ask how things were at Apalayshian state.
love it!

Exactly, will probably be revealed later. Hopefully not car keys.
Stay tuned for Day 4! Thanks Vincent!
