An advice for all international students who are angry, protesting, talking rudely to Canadian politicians, IRCC, provincial governments. Make sure once you go back to India, you behave/talk in the same way to the agents who sold you fake dreams by telling Canada is really good, PR is very easy, everybody gets PR there. The agencies who send students for these below par courses/colleges are responsible too.

Managers in construction are those who either have 5-6 yrs of experience in drywall or taping or framing or forming. Or they are the son of those experienced tradesmen which make them easy to go in such positions.
I also applied my file my idp they made me to join Alexander College which is tough as fee is high also they don’t refund fees so once i was in, there was not option to seek for other career after having experience.

Right or wrong it is Canadian government that decides further extensions, stays, pathways to permanent residence etc. based on Canada's needs. The politician in the video was born in Quebec. He speaks French, and that's one of the official languages in Canada. It's like saying someone born in Punjab is not Indian because their first language is not Hindi. Wrong! Canada shouldn't have let in so many TEER 4 or TEER 5 international students with low English and low job skills. If you're not a Canadian citizen, the politician is correct, you must obey the laws or be deported. By the way, it's embarrassing that the international students are protesting and begging to stay in Canada. There are lots of successful scientists, medical doctors and CEOs from India, that live in the United States. And Canada ends up with Hardeep Singh Nijjar!

Canada support refugees more than students, says alot about their politics. The protest is because they change so that less students can get PRs nor only indian but others are well in this. Although protest terms are not fully right but how canada is handling immigration and their main source of income is from immigration still they don't support them speaks a lot more. In this case, these workers worked 3 years at low paying jobs because they saw it was one of option to get PR. But not providing extension is really crazy, as if you see bigger picture if they go home they haven't got their investment back, new immigrants will come and spend their money again and then they see refugees getting 2000$/month for doing nothing. I mean we need more educational videos to actually explain how canada handle immigration so that people would have more correct view of what they are going to invest into.

@vivekbhakhri735 If you are not aware, acceptance of genuine refugees is the right thing to do, and Canada is a signatory to the UN Charter on refugees.
International students, most of them, especially from India, are bogus, and their only purpose to obtaining a student visa is not to study but to work and to never return to India. You say: ..... if they go home, they haven't got their investment back, .... That is not Canada's problem. When these Indians came to Canada to "study," they very well knew the fees they had to pay and the conditions of their visa. Crying wolf now is no excuse. Just go back to India. Canada has, for decades, been in the top 10 of least racist and safest countries on planet Earth. Plus prosperous. Now there is a new negative spin that most Canadians do NOT deserve to a high degree. People must look at both sides.
Since 2020, international students have been flocking to a educational system that many Canadians now feel was used by many of them as a loophole-to-immigration. Students utilizing schooling as a back-door (not front-door) ticket to living in Canada. Swarming a 50+ year tradition/system that was not not NOT designed to be about EVERY international student insisting on Permanent Residency. Plus it was not designed to be primarily about students insisting on lengthy work permits (& spouse permits etc.). Canadians have clued in that Canada's post secondary education system has (in 5 years time) turned into what many are now jokingly calling EDUGRATION. Plus 'edugration' was NEVER approved by everyday Canadians.
What about Ghost Consulting that Canada told India to halt? Canadians want the $ greedy agents in other countries to stop marketing & lying to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … in places like Canada being relatively easy (to get). And for any people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're getting greedy too. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 20% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine/trades etc.).
What about all the YT videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a product? Advertising VISITOR visas too (with the goal of staying once in Canada). Videos not only posted hourly but also not in English or French. With rare input from Canadian-born citizens.
Are most international students truly scholars who came to Canada with enough $ to support themselves while STUDYING? Or economic migrants, who borrowed $ to buy their way closer to the head of the immigration line? To say all the students or their consultants back home have not been at times 'gaming' Canada's education programs to gain western PR or $ is ridiculous. Students have contributed to Canada's housing CRISIS because 97% conspire-to-outstay a temporary permit. This extreme never existed at schools 5 years ago.
What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies? Fraud? False asylum claims? What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages? What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by/for internationals? Home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Indian nationals buying local businesses then putting Indians only in key positions (while also drastically changing work practices that include working more hours for less money). BC & Ontario are outlawing the Caste System.
Then throw in the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada. Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) … even though it all stems from their ancestral home. How can peace be found anywhere with this in play? Plus the Canadian government recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent. Research; "India second biggest foreign threat to Canada after China, says government panel". Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border.
In recent years, Canadians everyday are having to worry about their automobile being stolen by auto theft rings. For just ONE small example of what Canadians see regarding this, research; "arrests in connection with $9.24M Toronto-area auto theft ring".
Canadians are so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful. All are praying it doesn't turn into great anger. Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this).
Canadians are aware that some great students are going through hell. And know Canada is partially to blame which is awful. But Canada decides what needs to be done in Canada. Do you see Canadians protesting in other countries (that is not their own) making demands for themselves? No. Do Canadians now see primarily Indians protesting in Canada? Yes. Protesting because they don't have the credentials to stay in Canada. And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires/demands. And why isn't there large crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino or Chinese or Mexican etc., students protesting & waving their flags? They're in Canada too.
Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Coincidence? Mills that Canada is shutting down. AND the bulk of them are near Brampton Ontario and Surrey B.C.. Coincidence?
If 36,000,000 Canadians travelled to India, since 2020, with the goal of being able to stay there permanently, that would raise India's population by 2.65%. Recent asylum seekers crossing into Canada… and especially international students... have raised Canada's population higher than 2.65%. More needing healthcare too (affecting waiting times etc).
Did international students and their families pay into Canadian taxes ALL their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No.
Did Canada force internationals to move to Canada as a student? No.
Did Canada promise/guarantee PR? Or a job? No & no.
Yet do they blame Canada when they can't get PR???
PS: Canadians are now wondering; "What caused all this drama around international students to happen?". And when pondering this question they're thinking about Canada ... and ONE other country.
    WHY? 🤔

@@frankfanning6341 Mass immigration is seen in Canada, because the greedy Canadian-politicians lured people worldwide with promises of work and residence opportunities, without adequate amount of residence and other needed-infrastructure and in hopes of which hundreds and thousands of people started coming to Canada,NOT ONLY INDIANS,so stop blaming Indians for once.Secondly, you questioned about international students paying in the Canadian economy,HELL YEAH!
And of course, people are bound to leave their own countries and come to another country if they see a ray of hope towards building a better future for themselves and their forthcoming generations,so don't blame the immigrants for coming to the country when your own politicians can't make up for the promises made by themselves, taking over all the hard earned lifetime-savings of people from the rest of the world!

They are suddenly waking up saying their permit is expiring which they already got alot of them . I don’t get it if u study in Ontario try to get pr there it’s an age of internet u decide to spend thousands of dollars but couldn’t do a simple research before coming. How is it fair for people who came to small provinces struggle to get a job then people from Ontario come get job , PR and move to Brampton or Surrey . They say fair rules and I think not giving them extension is fair for people who came to these small provinces and put their blood and sweat here. 3 years and couldn’t figure out what to do means it’s a low quality immigrant

Dear international students from India. You got a privilege to get into Canada on student visa for only one purpose - study. Upon completion study , take your knowledge you received from university/college and go home to build up your own country. Student visa considered to study only and not smart Canadian government allowed international student to work as well which is big mistake. If someone in India told you you can get PR in Canada after completion of your study - they lie to you and when you return home you can ask your questions to this guys in native language. Algorithm is very simple - you decided to get degree in Canada instead of get it in well known universities at home and this is your decision. You paid money, got degree - GO HOME and build better future at your own home land.

This is a problem to both USA and Canada. The student visa is a visa for only studying. Just like if a company hire you is like only a contracted job. When any of those expire or job is over you go home back to your country. Those visas's are not a stepping stone to citizenship or for you to stay. After you graduate you go home. You cannot stay and look for a job and stay longer. You go home and apply online if accepted the company will give you a working visa. When that job ends or your fired or laid off. Again you go home. If your thinking you become a citizen through that the answer is no. If you stay your an illegal alien or migrant. You cannot even apply for asylum. Because you have a record of being a student. There are some instances you get arrested and deported. Depending on situation you might not even have the chance to come back again. You cannot extend. After you graduate. The best way if your lucky is to look for companies that can hire you before you graduate based on what you graduated in.

I live in Canada now as permanent resident. It is stupid to compare US with any country for tech. For tech/STEM, US education and research is superior to any country in the world. I mentor and work with many Masters and PhD people from U Waterloo, McGill and U British Columbia and the quality of their students is not eve close to top 20 schools in US.
Everyone who moves from US to Canada, except body shop people of TCS/Infosys hate Canada. People take Canadian citizenship and move back to US in 3 years.

Arrest and deport international students after their visa's expired is long and costly process. Easiest way to broadcast government letter (bylaw) to all businesses if any employee without valid visa employed, business owner will be penalized or license on operation revoked. In a few month all international students with expired visa's will return home to build up their own country.

Canada needs to bring 5 million immigrants from Eastern Europe, like Poland, Portugal, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Macedonia etc. Just look at the Eastern Europeans in Canada, they and their Canadian born children and grandchildren have learned and speak the English language fluently. In Canada, people speak English and French. The British and the French values must be upheld. God save the King.

These same politicians pass laws that make International students pay 3 to 4 times the fees.
I agree that immigration in general needs to be stopped.
I also agree that IF Canada wants to reduce students converting to PR eventually then they should pass it as a proper rule and apply it knew Students so that they know before they take that route and not after spending all that money.
Lastly. Canadian Economy is not suffering due to International Students. If anything it is suffering due to Rich Immigrants who come on PR and directly get opportunity to invest in housing market. These same Rich people fund politicians that keep allowing them to get richer.
If you really want to make things better for Canadians, stop playing ball with Students and play ball with these corrupt politicians and the Rich people.

Better not complain on videos now it’s on 30 TH-cam channels of Indian student going viral 🫣All students know the visa has limitations and all students signed the legal papers. It’s like in any company they give you a date to let you go even if you worked 5-10-15 or 30 years for the same company so on July 10, 2024 is you last day. You’ll not return to the same job on Monday. Your feelings don’t matter be a man and take this lesson of life. If the English, French, Italian, Greek, Russia see this video that Indian students don’t respect the laws of Canada 🇨🇦 if companies that hire people and see one individual of Indian background then 99% think they will complain at work. Stay silent because you’ll put all Indian people in trouble
