@@eeyoreyeen last year he wove a basket and covered the inside with pitch to make it waterproof. this time he carved boards and built what is traditionally considered a bucket by the western world.
You know, in a world where people upload "primitive" videos of building 5 story mansions underground using sticks and rocks (and an off-camera backhoe), it's good to see the legit all-stars making buckets.
The craftsmanship is outstanding! The best part is everything around him has it's own video. I have enjoyed going on his journey. If he can build this from wood then he can build a steam boat.
I love this guys TH-cam channel. I find it endlessly fascinating how he makes things with just raw materials, ingenuity, and hard work. Gee, maybe there's a lesson here for us modern types.
Sometimes I don't read the video title before watching because I want to be surprised, watching your creation take form while I try to guess what are you building this time to then be awed be the result just to think 'You mad genius'.
Your passion and commitment, your patience and perseverance, your love and dedication are things well admired. Kudos to your hardwork and for sharing these survival skills here for all of us to enjoy and hopefully learn something about it. Good luck and good fortune!
Maestro, those buckets are just brilliant work! One year ago you made a furnace, worked with iron ore and made a knife. It's fascinating watching you work with stone-tools, but have you considered making an axe, chisel or other tools for your projects? Best regards from Norway.
So much work. I think I won't take buckets for granted anymore. I wonder why people started using them, when it seems easier to make a pot out of fired clay?
His channel name is Primitive Life! I don’t know many people who could do this with advanced tools! Bravo sir, your craftsmanship is so far beyond primitive! Love your videos!
Bad idea with the resin. Place your bucket in water for a while. The wood will absorb some water and begin to expand. So the wood will close the cracks in the bucket.
ive been taught how to filter water with that same exact method at school! we have a special class that teach us survival skills and stuff, since we do a lot of excursions every year and in case one of the students get lost in the wilderness-- lol

This wasn’t what I pictured when I thought make a bucket. This is so much better. The quality of his work is pretty impressive.

what you mean? you saw the thumbnail. did you thought he was gonna make a bucket made of water?
@@eeyoreyeen There are many ways to make a bucket, I wasn't expecting this method either.

Cooperage without metal parts. Interesting.
the most original of "primitive life" youtuber! thanks for your beautiful and interesting videos and greetings from Brussels, Europe !
Clean water, you can't underestimate the value of that! :D
Drinkable water is good..
U should still boil that tho
What I find strange is that he already did a water filter system 2 years ago I think. It was larger but also used charcoal to filter.
And it's sorta pointless if you're going to use the same bowl for transporting the dirty water as you do to drink the filtered stuff
Great as always please keep the projects and videos coming
wonderful job as always, i'm looking forward to the metal age
You are an inspiration. You are a Star.
I saw this so quickly that I got here before the TH-cam notification
The video was also incredible! The water is so clear!
me too!
Thats why i like this channel. Not only "Making pools" like other "survivor"
Oh he made one. A fish pool so he can raise fishes. Sadly everything was destroyed by a storm so now he's starting back
Good work

Brilliant...love these calming, educational, interesting episodes ! 🇨🇦
Clean water. So valuable.
You managed to build wooden buckets, where others would use ceramic.
Very nice how you showcased the bucket-build.
Except water from the well was already filtered...

GREAT JOB!
Interesting ! good job thank you!
I like how he went through all this trouble to make a bucket when he was just holding the water before in a leaf.
Ha! I'm glad I'm not the only who thought this!
He made the filtering the water for drinking..

Charcoal needs to be much much finer to provide chemical filtration. Other than that, it's very well done, the buckets are very nice.

What happened to the iron tool set?
Could have lost it during the inactive period, or it could have rusted or blunted
No need to waste precious Materials on things that don’t need them. Stone works just fine when you only have one set of nice tools
