Really nice instruction...I really enjoy and appreciate your teaching style. I agree with the F chord mentioned earlier....I do think it's important to use that chord in the progression to make it sound authentic. And for clarification on your vocal (which is really nice by the way), you are just singing it an octave down, correct?

ok i'm new to singing so i was just wondering why you are able to sing this in D but you did cant you see by marshall tucker in E. i'm not being picky they both sound great......i'm just curious because im trying to figure out transposing keys for my voice and i think i have the same pitch as you. also your hotel california version works better with my voice as well

No, just a simple Gadd9 and Cadd9, just as the vid says.
PartyMarty EasyGuitarTunes Druid dude means that g add 9 would have an A in it. Your G with the D and G on the top is still G (G major is spelled G-B-D, so whether you play B or D on the second string, it’s the same chord). The C is an add 9 because D is the ninth in C.
"just to get back home" there is an F chord just before going back to D. I realize you are braking the song down to make it easy and the intro isn't too hard. I would love to here your full versions of the songs you play. I'm sure you can do it with ease! LOVE YOUR TASTE OF MUSIC! ... MICK-E-B
