Definitely captures a moment and preserves it forever.. 1987 actually a really good time to be alive in this country and fuck what the naysayers try to insist about it because I was fuckin alive for that shit and I recall a very different vibe about society in them days..
Loved all the older 70s 80s and 90s rock...Grew up with them from 11 on up.....good stuff! Stationed in Germany for 7 1/2 yrs...saw a lot of them in concert.....Queen Fleetwood Mac led Zeppelin etc etc.... Sooooo good! I mean you have to remember that the reason music from past decades often seems better than today's music is because only the best of that music survives past the decade. For every awesome hit like this one, there were probably 10 crappy or not nearly as good songs.
I didn't come here because of any show or reference, I came here to listen to a good song, and I really don't care about "how bad today's music is", get over it and listen to what you enjoy then.

I live in central Texas and I used to live on the 300 acre ranch I was supposed to inherit until my 2 older greedy male cousins found a way to legally steal it right out from under me! And lemme tell you as one who has sat on a big TX ranch in Llano TX I don't know about drinking coffee... it'd have to be a beer or glass of 🍷 that late in the day watching the sun 🌞 set AND who also happens to own 2 Harley Davidson Dyna Glide Lowriders... this is the song you hear in your head when yer riding back to the ranch from Luckenbach TX or on any beautiful back rd!🤛🏼😎🤜🏼💨The song you hear when you're just sitting on the ranch watching the sun set is by Gary P. Nunn and it's called, "What I like about Texas!" 🤠
It’s been three years since my uncle passed away. This was the song. The one he chose to be lowered into the ground to. He was a rebel like no one else, squeezed this thing called life dry, and rode into the sunset. Rest easy and run on, Banshee!
No matter who you are, how old you are, what your life is like... when listening to this song, I wish you luck, happiness and always have fun with your family
Does anyone remember in the beginning of song, do you remember the lyrics being "Only the names HAVE CHANGED? now he says "will change" his lips looks all glitcy during that moment too. At the 30 second mark.

If I was a rock 🌟 today I would have that classic 80s rock look you know, leather jacket, long hair jeans and jewelry you know that look?, the old school look.
They don’t make bands like this anymore , glad I grew up in the 80s
I'm 19, love this shit
I’m 22 and I wish I grew up in the 80’s so bad
Im 17, and the 80s songs/bands are better than the autotune crap we have today. (Of course, not all of today’s songs are bad, just some)
25 yr old here coming back to relive the good ol days that I never had a part of...
Dear lord almighty im 13 and i got friends listening to this anime sh*t instead of 80s. My parents gave me the right music style.
"Bon Jovi rocks, on occasions"
-Dean Winchester

+Angelena_luvs_Domo Angelena_luvs_Mykala I have to be the only one on earth who likes Sam. LOL

Indeed
This song really captures the essence of the 80's
Hell yeah brother
Definitely captures a moment and preserves it forever.. 1987 actually a really good time to be alive in this country and fuck what the naysayers try to insist about it because I was fuckin alive for that shit and I recall a very different vibe about society in them days..
@@88_TROUBLE_88Damn straight.
Dead or Alive 🎶 Yeah! 🎶🤘
Supertramp was big over there
.dunno if it hit the states like it did in Europe...awesome light show...
The band, the crowd, the video, the era was different
Black man from London England... Gotta salute this classic 😊
White man from Nashville Tennessee here. I saw them 3 times in concert. Amazing!!! Hi to everyone in England! Nashville Tennessee loves each & everyone of you very much. 👉🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲👈
Race is an outdated thing made in germany- german girl here. Love this song.
Are there any English people even left there?
@@anja6983 Why do you want to genocide yourself so badly?
@@ak47-hz4fq4np3z there may just be! I don't know, I've never been to England. I was there when I was 2 but I can't remember.
even though I didn't grow up in this time I still think that music back then is better than today's!
Chantal Brown same
Chantal Brown same man this music is hella better than todays music
i think you meant "i was born in the wrong generation"
Chantal Brown very close minded statement
I mean you have to remember that the reason music from past decades often seems better than today's music is because only the best of that music survives past the decade. For every awesome hit like this one, there were probably 10 crappy or not nearly as good songs.
I didn't come here because of any show or reference, I came here to listen to a good song, and I really don't care about "how bad today's music is", get over it and listen to what you enjoy then.
Same here
If you're here to listen to the song stop reading the fucking comments you pleb.
woah man, don't say that you'll offend someone
How the hell does this comment not have more likes
THANK YOU
Anyone here in September 2024?? This song reminds me of one of my favorite movies "Young Guns 2" 😎😎🔥🔥🔥💯
Everything about this song is Rock, from the tempo to the lyrics.
🌟🌟🌟
If Dwayne Johnston himself were playing keyboards in the background this could still be no more Rock
R u sure?
Produced by Bob Rock even...
I'd say more country then rock...
This song never gets old. No matter how much I listen to it, I never get bored.
Dude I’ve wasted like 5 years of my life listening to EDM when I could have been listening to this GOLD
Landrighini the Radical SonicKirby : Ha! In that case, you're 30 years late! :). Welcome aboard.✋️. The rumors were all true: America really did have REAL music back in the day!
welcome to the family brother
Only song that dampens my eyes. I'm still so sad he is no longer here, but we have the joys of watching many videos of his genius 2025
I don't know why but everytime that i hear this song I imagine myself in somewhere like Texas with a ranch, drinking my coffee and watching the sunset
Or with a nice fat one....Yeah I am a wanted....
a car the night the road high speed
Beer, a joint, and my pistol. Wouldn’t have it any other way, outlaws still exist.
I feel like landing in some foreign country to hand out some freedom
It’s been three years since my uncle passed away. This was the song. The one he chose to be lowered into the ground to.
He was a rebel like no one else, squeezed this thing called life dry, and rode into the sunset.
Rest easy and run on, Banshee!
Your right almost except for the thefts I can add a few more on live feed
That second paragraph was so cool. Read it in a southern accent
God bless him . Im doing the same and this will be ... my song. But ill be ok . I only worry for thoes I'm not around to protect anymore
I’m sorry for your loss but all I got to say is “I guess they got him dead”
Damn straight love it to the fullest, girls , beer, good music, field parties, fights it's all good...it was fucking great
I was born in '05 but I've grown up on the 70's, 80's, and 90's music.

Linda cancion...me la dedicaba mi mama...de Peru...hasta llego BonJovi
It's going to always be a masterpiece.
And it will always be a masterpiece
Good music doesn't age. No matter the year, it won't be forgotten.
Does anyone remember in the beginning of song, do you remember the lyrics being "Only the names HAVE CHANGED? now he says "will change" his lips looks all glitcy during that moment too. At the 30 second mark.
Richie take a bow, what a solo, deserves to be immortalised
One of the best solos of all time imo
I listened to this song when i was pregnant in 1987. And my son later loved it too!!
So cute 😘🙏🥰
