One of my favorite songs! ❤ In August 2018, I was pregnant with my daughter. She was due October 9th. My BP started raising a little so as precaution, my obgyn sent me for stress tests and ultrasounds 2x a week. What should've been a quick appointment went on for over 1 hour. The tech said oh baby is tired and kept being positive because there was a heart beat and everything appeared fine only my daughter wouldn't move at all. So she secretly called my ob after excusing herself from the room. She kindly told me after coming in that I'd need to go to the hospital for observation and was being admitted. I seriously almost had a breakdown and was never so afraid in my life. The nurse Amanda was extremely sweet and reassured me that my baby girl was moving. She asked could she pray over us, being Christian I was so happy that she wanted to! She got to know us while she did tests. My husband's was almost an hour away and mom was on her way. Amanda kept me company. She asked if I knew this song after I told her that I had quit believing in God but that He spoke to me in a way that I understood and that He brought me back. I was living a reckless life and it's changed dramatically. Amsnda sang this song to me as it played on her phone. I'll never forget her kindness! Sure helped me so much. And after many tests including an OTC test, we got to leave 24 hrs later. I came back to be induced 10/1 and got to request Amanda. Nothing went smoothly lol and I didn't have my daughter until 10/3. I pushed for 3.5 hrs and ended up being a C section. Amanda eventually had to leave and I had a different nurse. As I was pushing and was terrified again. My husband turned on IHOP KC and they were singing this song. I felt relief and like God was telling me that He was there and that everything was fine. Finally after being exhausted we did a c section. She's a healthy almost 15 m old girl today! She loves this song too. We've sang it since she was in mommy's tummy! And Amanda is on my Facebook and I recommend her to everyone who goes to have their baby. She prayed over my sister also a few months later when she had my nephew. She's a wonderful nurse and just so thankful that God sends people to us to show His love.
I've gone through many battles while renewing my mind to break free from strongholds and about 3 weeks ago probably tore some muscles in my side and was in a lot of pain trying to sleep. God healed me yesterday praise be to his wonderful name! I was doing just this ...worshipping and praising him and spending time with him. Then I realized the pain was gone. Thank you father for your tremendous love for us.

I have been feeling very unfulfilled lately and worried about the future, feeling like I missed something important. But tonight God spoke to me through this song and told me that those dreams for the future don't matter. It's not that they won't happen, but that whether they do or not isn't what's important. Just being near Him and praising Him each day is what matters most. Being close to God and growing in faith, relying on Him for strength and protection is what's important, instead of trying to do everything myself and "prepare for the future". The only way to be ready for whatever the future holds is to follow and trust in God each day.

I remember when i took that step of faith like that lady with the flow of blood. And the Lord healed me and is still healing me. Its a process yes it hurts but he loves me that much to heal me internally to serve him better and love him better in my walk with him. My childhood trauma does not define me nor does it own me. I am a new creation in christ. My identity is in christ and not in my abandonment nor rejection nor anything i went through. Jesus defines me. My creature is in me to live the life i should live. I can’t change the past but i can live the future in Jesus Christ.

I hadn’t heard this until singing it in worship at a family members church last Sunday. That’s one of the most powerful worship experiences I’ve been blessed to share in. Christ truly is our defender, healer and friend; but so much more. Trust Christ, His way is truly greater, more peaceful than imaginable and overwhelmingly abundant even when it doesn’t look like it to us. God bless each of you. I praise Jesus for the blessing of us even being allowed the opportunity of worshiping Him. He is so patient and incredibly good to us.

I have been feeling very unfulfilled lately and worried about the future, feeling like I missed something important. But tonight God spoke to me through this song and told me that those dreams for the future don't matter. It's not that they won't happen, but that whether they do or not isn't what's important. Just being near Him and praising Him each day is what matters most. Being close to God and growing in faith, relying on Him for strength and protection is what's important, instead of trying to do everything myself and "prepare for the future". The only way to be ready for whatever the future holds is to follow and trust in God each day.

Is that not what we feel like? ;__; I look back on my life and realize how much He's done for me, all the precious moments of intimacy and love in the midst of suffering, anxiety, and pain. How He sustains me to keep on living and growing in His Spirit...makes me feel so overwhelmed by His faithfulness. It perfectly describes my experience of when God found me again after backsliding--indeed, He put me back together, He picked up all my pieces--He is the defender of our hearts. How blessed are we to have a God, whose love and mercy is seemingly endless. Praise God
